Keep calm and spook on!

Yup, keep calm and spook on! What a perfect sentiment for today and for my spooky treats.
Happy Halloween!!!

I am in NYC this week working the NYC Marathon this week. I thought it would be fun to do treats for my colleagues working with me. I really appreciate all their help and the long hours they will work this week.
I created the tags in the Silhouette Design studio. I welded the tag shape to a shadow of the little witch, from SVG Cutting Files.
I printed /cut the tags and the witch on the Cameo and then added the witch to the tag with foam tape. The sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom Too Cute to Spook stamp set.I added chocolates wrapped with pattern papers and tied it up with some black tulle.

Have a crafty and spooky night!!

Little matchbook treats

Well, it's only a day until Halloween. I have lots of fun treats to share I have been working on for this week. Here's a quick and simple one.
These are matchbook treats I did with some basic black card stock, scraps of pattern paper and some stickers from Doodlebug.

I added sentiments from the Jaded Blossom Halloween Candies Stamp sets on a die-cut made with the Jaded Blossom Charms and Banners die cuts to cover the staple that is used to keep the treats secured inside. I think they turned out so cute.

Have a crafty day!!

A Little Thank You.

Happy Monday. It's my design day over at Stamp Annie Thing stamps and I did a little  Thank You card for my stash. Can never had too many of these.
I used a couple different Stamp Annie Thing stamps this week to make my card. The super cute bunny comes from the For Peeps Sake Stamp set and the sentiment is from the One Cool Cat set. I added a little button with some hemp and I have a pretty Thank You card for my stash.

I am off to NYC today for work but no worries- I have lots of posts already lined up with some fun projects to celebrate this week of Halloween.

Have a crafty day!.

Black Cat Kisses!

Hope you are enjoying a nice fall Sunday morning. I have a little Halloween treat bag to share with you today.
I used a new file from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons called Little Witches. It had this cute little black cat on it.
I have a ton of Halloween papers but nothing seemed to fit this kitty. So, I turned to the PPPR digital papers and selected papers from the All Hallow's Eve Diamonds and Grids and All Hallow's Eve Stripes digital paper packs.
I printed the paper 12x12 and then cut the toppers. The topper is also a file from the PPPR Layered Labels 1 set. I just sized it to 4" and folded it in half to fit my plastic treat bags.

I finished off this project with a sentiment from  Jaded Blossom's Halloween Poop 2 stamp set and a little bling on the bow.

I ended up making ten of these treat bags. Going to take them with me to NYC this week for my co-workers.

Have a crafty day!!

Keep Calm and Zombie on!

I will warn you I have lots of Halloween treats to share.. so by Halloween you will be tired of seeing all the posts for them.
I am not a fan of zombies, but this little monster is on the cute side.
I put together this little treat bag for the neighbor boy. I have a bunch of Halloween stickers in my stash so this went together super quick.

The sentiment is from Jaded Blossoms Vampire & Zombies, Oh My! stamp set. I stamped it onto a die cut from the Jaded Blossom Candy Charms and Banners die set. Added a little orange ribbon and filled the bag with goodies.

For the goodies, I wrapped some Halloween washi tape around mini play-doh containers and then added a candy apple sucker, and those fun eyeball chocolates.

This should keep him busy for a day or two!

Have a crafty day!!

Gobble! Gobble!

Welcome to my Digi My World Design Team Day post. It s a new release week and I am showcasing the Turkey time Digital stamp set being released on Friday.
Since I am mass producing these Thanksgiving treat bags, I decided to blend and color my digital image on my computer. Then I used the print and cut feature with the Cameo to create and cut out the base of the label and the Turkey.
It's hard to see in the photo, but the turkey is on foam tape.

The treat holder itself is just a 2.5"x5" piece of card stock scored at the 1/2" mark on each side to make a tray. The chocolate nuggets are covered in pattern paper cut at 1"x3". I used a pretzel plastic bag and tied it up with my tag and ribbon.  I found inspiration here and here for this project.

Be sure to check the blog on Friday to see the newest releases. Have a crafty day!

The microscope is so iconic when it come to science. The crazy scientist in this file set is so cute and is literally climbing the sides of the candy tube to see what is brewing inside. I added his glasses from the Kawaii Nerdy School set.Watch out it might explode!

Now for my surprise--I decided to do a little card for Ann to wish her "BIG" Birthday wishes. I used the same little scientist for this card.
I added some glossy accents to his glasses and propped him up on a wobble spring. I love the sentiment stamp- it's perfect. Inside I stamped "Have an Explosive Birthday".

Teepee Fun!

Hi everyone, I have a fun fall treat box to share that is just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday season. Did I just say Thanksgiving? Oh my gosh- where has the year gone!
I think this would make a great addition to any Thanksgiving table or for a little person that just loves treat. Reminds me of the Indian in the Cupboard book. This new Teepee treat box was just being released today over at SVG Cutting Files.
I filled my box with candies after I added some stamped images on the bottom using the  Jaded Blossom Birthday Candies , Patriotic Candies, and Thanksgiving Kisses stamp sets.
.
I love all the little details include with this file, the bear tracks, the bear, eagle, etc. I added some twigs from my yard and attached a little tag that says Give Thanks from the BugBites Autumn Splendor stamp set.

Die Cuttin' Diva's Dessert Challenge- Yum!!

If you are looking for the SVG Cutting Files Gift Challenge Post, Click here.

It's Tuesday and time for another Die Cuttin' Diva's challenge. This week we are talking Desserts! That's right, it's Dessert day at Die Cuttin' Diva's and we want to see your projects that feature your favorite dessert.

I love this challenge because I love dessert and scrapping my favorite dessert recipes. Well, all recipes for that matter. Check out my Food Fare link above and you will see several of my favorites.

This recipe is a new one I discovered on Pinterest and it is a real winner. All my recipe pages are 8x8. That gives me enough room for my recipe and fun die cuts to embellish the page.

I ordered the Create a Friend cartridge as soon as I heard it was available and as soon as I got it, this little gal was the first friend I cut from it. I gave her a sweet PKS stamped face. The chocolate title is from the Cricut Lite cart, Sweet Shop. Lasagna script word was created in the Silhouette software and cut on the cameo.

This dessert is so yummy. If you try it, be sure to leave me a note if you love it too.

Be sure to stop by the Die Cuttin' Diva's blog this week to see the yummy  DT inspiration projects and link a project. I look forward to seeing your scrumptious creations.

Happy Monday! I have a very simple little card for you today since it is my Design Day over at Stamp Annie Thing Stamps.
I did a little 3" note card for a friend. Just a little note to say hi that I can include with some treats.
I used the Our Lil' Pumpkin head stamp set since it has the cutest little pumpkin on it which worked perfectly for this card. This is a great way to build your stash and use up some scraps .

See ya back here in a couple weeks with another Stamp Annie Thing project.

Festive Fall Tags- Prost!

Yup- still celebrating Oktoberfest!
If you saw my post a couple days ago, I mentioned an annual Oktoberfest party. Well, I was recently in Las Vegas for work and stopped by the Hofbrau House Restaurant there and picked up some german style napkins for the hostess.
Of course, I needed to add a little tag to for them and the SVG Cutting Files Oktoberfest files worked perfectly.
I used several different images from this set combined together for my little tags.I think they turned out rather cute!

Hope you all have a creative day!

DMW- Pumpkin Cuties!!

Morning everyone!
Today is my design day over at My Digi World. It's a great site for some really cute and fun digital stamps. I am so excited to be a part of this new team.

Today I used a few images together on my card from the Pumpkin Patch Cuties Set to create my little scene on this card.
I really love the fall season and all the colors and of course pumpkins.
I sized and layered all the digital images I wanted on my computer and then printed it out and got to work coloring.

We have lots planned over at My Digi World  so you'll want to be sure to become a follower so you don't miss out. You might also want to sign up for the newsletter so you don't miss any freebies along the way!

Have a creative day!

Prost! Exciting News to share!

Proust! well, that means Cheers for all you non-German folks out there. October is known for Oktoberfest and here in Central MN, a community with a strong German heritage, also celebrates Oktoberfest. At least among my friends. Our little Oktoberfest party has been going for well over 20 years.
I also have more news to celebrate- I am a new member of the SVG Cutting Files Design Team. I was so excited when Ann asked me to be apart of this fun team.

As my first post as part of that team, what better fitting than a party poster for my Oktoberfest party friends.  Just as in Germany for any wine or beer festival, there is usually a poster created for the event.

This year I volunteered being I wanted to use the new Oktoberfest SVG cut file set from SVG Cutting Files.

I created my background using some leaves and checked digital paper. Then I just cut and pieced the rest. I used plenty of foam tape for dimension.

At the party, all guests in attendance sign the poster so we know who was there each year.

Here is a list of all the goodies I used on this project.

Oktoberfest boy, girl, pretzel, and banner from SVG Cutting Files.
Leaves for background from SVG Cutting Files.
Faces stamped with Peachy Keen Stamps
Twine from The Twinery
Digtial checked background paper from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.
A few stickles, gems, and a feather for the cap.

Have a creative day!

Die Cuttin' Diva's Challenge with the color Brown

It's Tuesday and time for another Die Cuttin' Diva's challenge. This week the challenge is to use the color brown.

I know its early for Christmas, but it's time to start thinking about those holiday cards. You're thinking what does Christmas have to do with the challenge to use the color brown.
Well, this week I used an image and sentiment from a stamp set called Presents from our sponsor, Marks Finest Papers & Stamps.
As you can see, my card has plenty of brown on it even though it is a holiday card. I used the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Sentiment Spots file set to add the vertical banners. Instead of coloring the whole image, I decided to paper piece the gift box. Makes it a bit more interesting.
I used an EK border punch on the dark green mat across the bottom and added a button with a bow.

Be sure to stop by the Die Cuttin' Diva's blog this week for some great apple inspiration from the the DT and link up an apple creation for us all to see.

Trick or Treat!

It has been cold and rainy this weekend so I have been in my craft room working on lots of fall and Halloween projects.
I picked up some of these MDF little stands at my local craft store and through they would be great for some holiday decorations for the window sill.
I started by brushing some brown Tim Holz ink all over to give it a more finished look.
Next, I traced the back drop piece onto my paper and then hand cut it out and attached it to the wood. From there I just built the display as if I was making a card.

Here is what I used to finish this project:
Witch SVG file from SVG Cutting Files, Subway art stamp from Jaded Blossom, Spider circle stamp from Jaded Blossom, the Martha Stewart  Spiderweb punch, a couple candy corn stickers and a tiny clothes pin covered with washi tape to hold my sentiment card.

I will be linking this project up to the Jaded Blossom Halloween Monthly challenge.

Hope your weekend is going great.

A Nerdy Halloween!

Welcome to my first post as a new Design Team member for Digi My World!
If you have not stop by Digi My World yet, please do. You'll find some adorable digital images.

Today there is a new release called Nerdy Halloween. Oh they are so cute.
Each design team member today picked one of the images to showcase. I was lucky enough to get the Nerdy Bat!
I know many of you are nervous about coloring with copic markers and all that blending stuff. Well, I am here to tell ya, that you can still design with these little beauties without even picking up a marker!

For my bat, I just imported the image into the Silhouette Design Studio and colored him there. Then I just printed and cut him out. If you don't have this software, you can still print these images and use any marker you have on hand. There is no right or wrong when it comes to creativity, It's all great!
I put my nerdy bat on a wobble for a bit of action on this card  and added a sentiment from the BugBites Magic Spells Stamp set.

Here's a picture of the whole Nerdy Halloween images. Aren't they cute!
Stop by Digi My World to see all that's new!

Enjoy the game!

Wow- where has the year gone. I can't believe I am talking hockey season already. As a season ticket holder of the local D1 college hockey team, we are getting excited for the season to begin in a week.
I have to miss a game due to travel for work and therefore will be giving the tickets to the neighbor to  use. I can't just hand the tickets over, I need to do a card for them! They have a little boy that I am sure will enjoy the game and the card with this little hockey player on it.

I used a hockey clipart set I had in my files for the hockey image. behind him is an image of an ice rink from the same set. I used the print and cut feature on the silhouette to cut the mat and player. Then I traced, printed and cut the hockey puck and attached it with some foam tape.

Boy, that Silhouette Design studio is fun to use. I have so much to learn  yet.

Hope they enjoy the game!
