Be Merry!

Hello! I have one last holiday card to share with you. I couldn't share this earlier since we had one last Christmas breakfast with some family yesterday.

This is my Christmas Pageant card.
The stage curtain was intentional because inside, this card held theater tickets. The star of the show, the dancing elf, is from the SVG Cutting Files store here.

Here's the inside of the card.
It was perfect since the bottom folds up to make a pocket for my tickets.

Here are all the details...

Happy Holidays!

Hello there! Hope you all enjoyed a joyous holiday with friends and family.
I know we enjoyed a nice couple days at home. We even got a little snow over night so technically we had a white Christmas!

I finally got all my holiday cards in the mail last Monday.

I mass produced quite a few of these which at the time seemed like I could get them done quickly until I started gluing all the little pieces.

In the end they turned out cute.

Last Minute Gift Bags

Merry Christmas Eve!!

I hope you are all enjoying some nice time with friends and family. It's a day of playing games and snacking in our house. Everything from meatballs, cheese and crackers, lots of dips, cookies, and the list goes on. You'd think we have 20 people in the house but all this for just the three of us.

I have a few little gift bags I did at the last minute for some gifts I had. These gift bags are just 5x7.

First up is my little caroler bag.
The recipe:
Peachy Keen In the Garden Face Stamps

I'll be linking this one up to the PPPR Christmas Challenge.

Next is my Jolly little elf bag.

Finally, my Woodsy Snowman bag. I was so excited to find this paper in digital form. It is one of my favorite paper packs.

Holiday Cheer!

It's Friday!! what a busy week at work. Seems the days are flying by! I still have way to much to do to be ready for Christmas.

I did get this little gift project done.
It's a simple little bottle tag for this big fat jar of hot cocoa mix.

I'm a fan of all the Chibi SVG Cutting files and this one simply called Snowmen was a perfect fit for this hot cocoa tag.

The bottle has somewhat of an odd size opening so I created my own hang tag using the Silhouette software.

Happy Winter!

Happy Thursday. Today I have a Digi My World project to share. It's a winter theme card using the DMW  Winter Kids Clipart file.

Once I had my card designed, I sized the clipart on the computer and printed and cut it as a circle. You can do this with your Cameo software or by using a large circle punch or perhaps a circle die.
I have the old Creative Memories cutting templates that worked perfectly.

I added a snowflake which was made us the Jaded Blossom Winter Dies and the sentiment fro the Your So Cool stamps by My Creative Time.

Christmas Movie Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Christmas Movie Blog Hop!
As always, our hops are sponsored by SVG Cutting Files & Jaded Blossom

Sit back and enjoy this trip down memory lane as all the designers have done projects with characters from their favorite Christmas Movies... but remember, its only
48 hours long and ends PROMPTLY at 11:59 PM PST Saturday!

You can earn the free SVG files being showcased by our talented DT by following the guides below!

One of my favorite holiday movies is a claymation show called The Year without A Santa Claus! It's not as popular as many of the others, but was always one of my favs and of course the main narrative character, Santa!

For gift Giving I am finding that gift bags are the way to go. No worrying about neat folded corners and tape when wrapping packages. Especially those odd shaped items.

So my project is a gift bag that holds some special surprise treats.
I used some Doodlebug papers for my base background and added the super adorable Santa cut file to the front. My sentiment is from the Merry & Bright stamp set and stamped on a tag from the Mini Tag Dies 2 die set.

The treat bag is only 5x7 so fairly small but perfect for tiny gifts.

Now back to how you can get this file and the others along the hop.

Happy Holidays

Wow- it's Thursday already.
Hope you're all enjoying the holiday season so far.

I am in holiday full decorating mode; tree up, santa collection displayed, and now working on holiday cards.

The holiday clipart in the Digi My World Store makes card making a breeze.

The Twinkle and Sparkle Clipart is one of my favorites this time of year.

I used scraps of holiday paper I had in my stash and then added my little elf with some foam tape. I did a simple print and cut. This elf set comes with two cute elf's and a sentiment that is super cute as well.

Jaded Blossom December Release day 2- Santa Treats

Hello! Welcome back to Day 2 of the Jaded Blossom December mini release!

My project today is a holiday themed treat box. I was thinking this could be a super cute Secret Santa gift
I used the new die and cut the box from red card stock. I added the Santa face and sentiment. Finally, I stuffed the box with some candy canes, punch a couple holes at the top so I could tie it all together with a bow.

Here's the complete list of items I used for this project....

Jaded Blossom December Mini Release and Challenge - A Tasty Holiday!

Hello! Jaded Blossom is having a special die release for December!
It's called the Goody Bag Die!

It's officially the holiday season and that makes me think of cookies.
The Goody Bag die works perfectly for small treats like my gingerbread cookies.
I used a die from the card mat dies to make a little window so you could see me cookies in the treat bag.
I then cut and embossed the gingerbread boy from the Gingerbread wishes stamp and die set  to add with foam tape to the front. The sentiment is also from the Gingerbread wishes stamp set which I stamps on a tag using the Halloween Dies.

I used the JB A2 card sleeves to slip in 2 cookies and tie them up with a bow before inserting them into the treat bag.

The Goody Bag Die will be available for sale starting December 1st, 12:00 am
(limited quantities available).
There will be no stamp release this month.

Make sure to head over to Jaded Blossom to see what the rest of the team created.

There is also a new challenge starting and it's Crafter's Choice! Please be sure you check out the challenge rules before linking over at the Jaded Blossom Blog

I'll be back tomorrow with another project using t his new die.
