Bat Treats

Happy Monday. Can you believe it is the last Monday in September already.
Today I am over on the Jaded Blossom Blog with this fun treat bag all decked out for Halloween.

I don't always have time to make a treat box from start to finish so finding treats already packaged in the holiday colors make it a snap.

This treat bag is a simple bag of colored popcorn for Halloween. To dress it up I got out some of my Jaded Blossom dies and stamps and quickly I had a super cute treat bag without all the hassle.

Here's a list of what I used to embellish my store bought treat bag.....

Jaded Blossom Sept Release day Four- Witch Crossing!

It's Thursday and day four of the September Jaded Blossom release week.
What a great week and so many fantastic ideas using these new stamps and dies.

Today, I  created a a little treat holder that can be made with things in your scrap closet.
I sized some colored mat paper to fit the from of my treat card and then added the tag with sentiment along with some designer tapes. You may think those are washing tapes, but nope, they are the stamped using the new Halloween Designer tapes

To make the envelop holder I folded an A2 envelope in half and then unfolded it and open up the flap.
Now cut from the top of the flap to the fold line or top of the envelope.
Now tuck the right half of the flap inside the envelope.
Glue down the left side of the flap as if you were sealing the envelope.

You can see in the picture below, the right side now is a pocket for a treat.

Other goodies I used on today's project are...
SVG Cutting Files Chibi Witch on Broom
Jaded Blossom Halloween Dies
Jaded Blossom Halloween Treats 2

Here is a look at the complete set of stamps a being featured by the Design Team today.

Prost

Prost means cheers in German.
It's fall and that usually means an annual Oktoberfest with friends.
This year it was the 28th annual!

I put together a fun little poster that all attendees can sign to help us remember who was in attendance.

This German accordion player is new from SVG Cutting Files.Other files like the leaves, frame and banner are all from the Silhouette store.

Beer and Pretzel are also from SVG Cutting files here

Hope you are enjoying the weekend!

Rattle dem Bones!

Today is my design day over at SVG Cutting Files.

Its the fall season and time to be thinking of all those spooky Halloween projects.

I did a shaped card today using a cake portion of the new file in the store now called....Skeleton cone and cake.

I know some of you are thinking it is too early to think of Halloween. But if you are like me, time goes too fast to leave those Halloween cards til the last minute.

Shaped cards are an easy way to get them done quickly and with these new Halloween files from SVG Cutting Files,  you'll have all yoru cards done super fast.

The sentiment is from a  My Scrappy Mom

You've Been Boo'd

You've been boo'd on this September Monday!!

These little treats are perfect for the classroom of co-workers and easy to do when you have many to make.
I used two Hershey snack size candy corn chocolate bars stack on top of each other. I wrapped a 2" band of pattern paper round each.
On top of that I added some black tulle. You could use any ribbon or twine as well.

The ghost and tag were cute from the Jaded Blossom Halloween Dies. I simple stamped a PKS face on the ghost. Any face will work. If you don't have any face stamps, just draw a face. After all, its a ghost,...a couple dots for eyes is all you need.

The tag was stamped with my sentiment from the Jaded Blossom Halloween Treats stamp set.

Jaded Blossom Challenge- Fall Colors

It's time for the Jaded Blossom's September Challenge!

This months challenge theme is Fall colors - any school themed project!

Also, visit the Garden of Creativity in Facebook and "Like" the JB Facebook Page.

Challenge Guidelines:
1) Project must be new for this challenge, no back linking
2) Project must have a Jaded Blossom stamp somewhere on it.
3) Only one entry per person
4) Link it up by 9/30

Fall colors are mostly thought of as orange, brown, yellow, green. However, when I think of fall, I also think of Halloween and the colors of green, purple, orange, black, etc.

I used the Goody Beg die for my project today and added my little witch to the front. She is quite funny with her green face.

My witch came together by using the Chibi Witch from SVG Cutting Files. I cut off her feet so that I could use the witch feet from the Halloween Treats stamp set. Don't worry- she didn't feel a thing!

I stamped the witch feet on my background paper and colored them with my markers. Then I added my witch on top.

List of goodies I used on today's project...
