Today is my first posting as a member of the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons DT. I am so excited to be a part of this group and to be able to shout out about Lisa's Creative SVG files and digital papers.
She recently put in her store a set of cut files called Oktoberfest. Well, I have not been to the official Oktoberfest in Munich but spent time at small town wine and beer festivals in August leading up to the big celebration. I have to say those small towns know how to throw a party.
A little closer to home, my friend and her family have been celebrating Oktoberfest for the last 25 years. Everyone is required to bring a 6 pack of German beer and then several of us bring the traditional food dishes.
We start with pretzels, cheese and crackers for most of the afternoon. Then for dinner there are brats, german potato salad, spaetzel and dessert. That's where my contribution comes in. Each year I bake the Black Forest Chocolate Cherry cake.
So it's not Friday, but here is a long over due Food Fare recipe page for my German cake. It's a long recipe so I had to make two pages. When I saw the Oktoberfest files, I knew it was perfect for these pages.
The checked paper, part of the Oktoberfest digi paper pack, reminds me so much of the Hofbrauhaus House a.k.a. beer hall.
All the files where brought into the Silhouette Design software. I printed the papers and hand cut them to the 8x8 page size. The banner and embellishments, were sized in the software program, cut and then paper pieced using paper from my scrap box.
Be sure to stop by Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons to see all the fabulously cute files and papers Lisa has to work with.

Celebrate the Occasion Challenge #81 Sports Anyone?
Well, it's a busy week for all my DT postings. Today is my turn to post for the sports challenge over at Celebrate the Occasion. Bugaboo stamps is one of this months sponsors and I selected to do my card this week using their Ava Baseball image.
I am still working on my copic coloring skills. Some day I might have the technique of blending down.
So please, look past the imperfections of my coloring.
I found this cute wood bench on the bugaboo website as well and knew it would be perfect for Miss Ava. I imported the Ava Baseball image into the Silhouette Design software, sized it and cut it out. I then colored it with my copic markers and popped it up on the bench using some foam tape.
The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper Sport-astic stamp set. I just cut the words apart. The pattern papers are from the Little Sport collection by Heidi Larson. Love the colors of this paper.
I hope you will create and link up a porject for our challenge this week. I would love to see what you do.

New BugBites Stamps Have Arrived!
I am so excited to finally share with you my two new stamp sets for this fall,
Autumn Splendor and Ghostly Greetings.
YAY! they finally arrived! So let me share a little about each of them. First up is what I think is one of my favorite sets so far, Autumn Splendor. It's loaded with great sentiments for the entire fall season. As I said before, there doesn't seem to be enough general fall sentiments out there so perhaps this is the start to fill that void.
Here's a little card using this new stamp set.
Doesn't this just bring back those fall memories. Ok, who doesn't remember jumping in big leaf piles as a kid or even now with your kids. So much fun!
When I saw this new svg set, Fall Fun, from Lisa over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons, I just had to use it right away. It's perfect for this stamp set. You can find more of Lisa's great files in her store here.
Now for some spookiness, Ghostly Greetings. This stamp set is what you might expect, Halloween sentiments. But, what's really cool about it is the original SKdigis image that's included.
I was so excited that my blogger friend, Sonia, agreed to design a special SKdigis original just for this stamp set. Thanks Sonia!
I used Sonia's digi original to make my own background paper by stamping and heat embossing the image. It looks so cute! The sentiment is also from the Ghostly Greetings stamp set.
Be sure to check out Sonia's other digi originals over at her online store here.
There ya go! Now you've seen both sets.
Many wishes for a creative day!

In the meantime, here is an other card I did with the new BugBites Autumn Splendor stamp set. I just love the colors and crisp air of the fall season. I just don't care for the season that follows so much.
I have at least one more sneak peak in the next day or so before the stamps will be here.
Here's how I did it....
A2 base card on brown card stock
Pattern Papers from Bo Bunny Apple Cider 6x6 Paper pack
Scarecrow/layers cut at 4.25" from Simply Scarecrow cartridge

Black and White plus 1 additional color challenge for SKdigis Challenge #2
Today is the start of another weekly challenge over at SKdigis.
This week we want you to create a card that uses black and white and one additional color. That's it! Just three total colors, no more. The DT has tons of inspiration for you this week.
For my additional color I chose red so I could use the adorable little devil. I just love this little guy and he is part of a whole series that Sonia has done for the spooky holiday. Be sure to check them out here.

New BugBites Stamps- Sneak Peak!
Good morning! What a beautiful day it is going to be. I need to tear myself away from the craft room to get outside. But first here is a sneak peak at some sentiments on my new stamp sets that will be released this coming week.
I just picked up the Create a Critter 2 cartridge and this is sure to be another all time favorite.
The sentiment is from the new BugBites Ghostly Greetings stamp set, full of spooky sentiments as well as a special image stamp designed by my friend Sonia over at SKdigis.
I cut the Ghost/layers at 3.25" from Create a Critter 2 and foam mounted him to the card. The rest is just random sized rectangles using cute paper from the Doodlebug Haunted Manor 6x6 paper pack.
I just find that most stamps out there are Halloween themed and not enough for the fall season in general. Therefore, BugBites Autumn Splendor stamp set was created.
For this card I used papers from the Cosmo Cricket Matilda 6x6 paper pack.
The pumpkins are cut from the Pumpkin Carving cartridge at various sizes and then I added cute Peachy Keen stamped faces. I love this little poem which is included on the Autumn Splendor set. Makes me smile.
I am so excited to have a few more stamp sets. Of course, I still have a few of last years stamp sets which can be found on the right side bar of my blog.
Enjoy a creative day!

Autumn Splendor
Well it is Friday! I am so glad I have the day off, but already half the day is gone and I don't have nearly all the things done I wanted to get done so far. I have so many projects dancing around in my head and not enough time to to do them.
Well, remember a couple days ago I shared some exciting news and I said there would be more by the end of the week. Well, here is the rest.
I have a couple new stamp sets coming out next week. It has been a year since the last ones, too long in fact.
So over the next week I will be sharing some projects with these new sets and hopefully by the end of next week they will be in my hands ready to ship.
Today, however, I have a card I created for a Freshly Brewed facebook challenge. I used one of the three free digis I was sent to create with. This is the cutest little pumpkin fairy.
I used my Cameo for most of the project until my blade wouldn't cut anymore which meant lots of fussy cutting.
The orange and gold papers are digital papers from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Summer Brights collection. The sentiment is from the soon to be available BugBites Autumn Splendor stamp set.
Now go and check out the Freshly Brewed Blog and mark your calendar for their blog hop that starts tomorrow.
Have a great weekend!

Celebrate the Occasion challenge day...shaped card.
Welcome to another Celebrate the Occasion challenge. This week we want to see your shaped cards.
I am in love with the new Teddy Bear Parade cricut cart.OMG, it is just way too cute.
I started with the cute farmer bear on the cart, one of many I have not just wait to be placed on a card.
I needed a home for farmer bear and what better but a barn.
So using my Gypsy, I welded two blackout barn shapes from the Country Fair cart to make my card base.
I look forward to seeing what you can do.
Hers's how I did it...
All paper from my scrap box
Base card created using 2 barn shapes sized to 4.25" and welded together from Country Fair cart
Barn Layers cut at 4.25" from Country Fair cart

Everyone needs a hero.
If your looking for the SKdigis Inauguration Blog Hop post, click here.
Well it's another weekend. I'm hoping to get some scrapping done today. I have a scrapbook retreat coming up next month that I am hosting for 10 ladies so I need to get a move on and get some info out to them.
But before I get started on that, I thought I would share a quick little card using a svg file from Lisa over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. She has some adorable files and digital paper to chose from.
I like to have cards on hand that I can grab when the need arises, and I think this would be a great thank you card for the right person some day. These super hero files of Lisa's are so cute!
The red pattern paper is also from Lisa's shop. I had this blue vinyl paper in my scrap box from another project years ago and finally found a place to use it. Makes his super hero suit look a little shiny and I like the texture it adds too.
Have a great Saturday.
Here's how I did it...
A2 card base in white card stock
Pattern Paper and blue mat printed using Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons Summer Brights digi paper
Mat sized and cut using my Cameo
Super hero cut at 3.75"

I decided to create a fun wobble card using two images from SKdigis online store, this cute mouse and the wheel of cheese.
I used my Cameo to color the mouse and cheese and then cut them out. The pattern papers are all scraps left over from some 6x6 paper packs. I finished it off with some black twine from the Twinery. The sentiment is also printed and cut from my cameo. Finally, my little mouse is mounted on a wobble so he wiggles..a bit tipsy from all that wine I suspect, LOL.
