The upcoming week is the week of the 4th of July. Therefore, I have pulled out all my red, white and blue papers to get started on my holiday cards and projects for this week.
I have recently become some what obsessed with treat containers. I even have a board on Pinterest where I post any sort of treat project I find. I think I have to thank the Jaded Blossom and SVG Cutting Files Design Teams for this new obsession of mine!
I found this simple but oh so cute Uncle Sam cute file along with the tube holder box and stars over at SVG Cutting Files.
I cut the box to measure 2.5" tall and then sized all the other elements to fit that.
I gave Uncle Sam a face from the PKS Simple Sallies Faces stamp set. The sentiment is from Stamp Annie Thing Party in America Stamp set.
I used the Jaded Blossom Patriotic Candies to decorate the tube top.
Holiday M&M's complete my little treat project. You can find the treat tubes on the Jaded Blossom site here.
I am linking up my little creation to the following challenges:

Orange you Sweet!
Happy Friday.
Last week I got happy mail from Jaded Blossom which included some plastic treat boxes. These little boxes are the perfect size for little gifties.
For my box, I found tiny bite size orange jellie slices at the store which were perfect for this small treat box.
How cute is this orange and orange slice die cut? They are this weeks freebie in the SVG Cutting Files newsletter. If you are not on the newsletter list, I suggest you sign up here. These oranges were perfect for my little box and my treats.
I didn't have an "orange" sentiment in my stash of stamps, so I created and printed one from my computer.
Here's a picture of the back of the box so you can see the tiny orange slices.
They are almost to cute to eat!

I am off to do some weeding in my flower garden. It's looking a bit neglected right now.
I wish you all a happy Friday!!

Owl be there treat.
It's been a busy week thus far but we are already at Wednesday. I am hoping for great weather to catch some good music in the park this evening. So hoping it stays dry! I made this cute little treat for a friend this week. Felt she needed some love to get through a busy week.
The slider treat box is from a My Creative Time die, the owl is a Stampin' Up punch, and the sentiment is from a new stamp set I just received from My Scrappy Moms stamps called Owl Occasions.
I filled the box with chocolate so hopefully it will brighten her day.

Birthday Card Challenge - Die Cuttin' Divas.
Welcome to another Die Cuttin' Diva's weekly challenge. This weeks challenge theme is to make a Birthday card but use three embellishments. They can be three different items or three of one item.
I decided on three flower shaped buttons for my inspiration card.
For my card this week, I used some cutting files I found over at SVG Cutting Files. I used the cupcake girl and the card base itself. The sentiment is from an old My Pink Stamper set.
I hope you will join us this week and link up a birthday card. Don't forget, you must use a die cut on your card to link up.
Please be sure to swing by the Die Cuttin' Diva's blog to see what awesome projects the rest of the DT has to show you.

Stamp Annie Thing Just Fur You
It's Monday an I am back in the USA. Mother nature sure has a funny way to say welcome home. Last Thursday evening, a huge thunderstorm rolled through central Minnesota with winds up to 85 mph. This left many trees in our neighborhood and city down. It also left over 500,000 Minnesotans without power. Some are still without power yet today.
So onto the task at hand today, It's my DT day at Stamp Annie Thing.
Today I used the Dog-gone Cute stamp set.
I colored most of the dog with my copic markers and paper pieced his clothes.
He sure is cute! Here's a picture of all the stamps in this set.
You can stop by and grab this adorable stamp set now, just click here.
Have a terrific Monday!

Hats off to you!
Well, I am still in Panama City today. I get to be on my way home early tomorrow morning.
For many, school is out for the summer and many are celebrating a graduation. So my card today is a pocket card measuring 6"x6" for grads. I made the pocket by attaching a triangle for the pocket to hold my graduate.
Isn't this graduate the cutest ever! She is from the PPPR Graduates cut file set.
Once I had my lil' grad all pieced together I added a magnetic strip to the back of her. Now, whomever I send this to will have a cute card and a little magnet to put on the fridge to remember that day by for weeks to come. Love dual purpose cards.Be sure to stop by the Pretty Papers, Pretty Ribbons blog to see what the other DT members have come up with. They are amazing!

Die Cuttin' Diva's Challenge- A refreshing summer treat.
Welcome to another Die Cuttin' Diva's challenge Tuesday. This week our challenge theme is a refreshing summer treat. Well, there is nothing better than a nice juicy piece of sweet watermelon on a hot summer day. Well, ok, maybe ice ream beats it, but watermelon is figure friendly.
I just love this little penguin die cut that I picked up a while back over at Kadoodle Bug Designs. The sentiment is from a My Pink Stamper stamp set that was perfect for this little card. I cut the original stamp apart to make the 4 lines. I know what you are thinking, cut my stamps! Well, sometimes it is what works best. They can always go back together.
I look forward to seeing what cool treats you come up with. Be sure to stop by and see the other fabulous projects my design team sisters have created here.

Blooming with Stamp Annie Thing
Happy Monday! I have a very simple but pretty card for my Stamp Annie Thing project today.
I used a pretty little flower stamp from the Peep Sake stamp set. I stamped it three times, colored them and cut each out. From this picture it is hard to see that the flowers are popped up on foam tape. I also added some sparkle to the flowers with a glitter pen.
Here's the whole set of stamps.
I know this set looks like it was made for Easter, but I think this card shows how versatile the Stamp Annie Thing stamp sets can be. Just click here to get your Peep Sake stamp set too.
I will be back Monday with another Stamp Annie Thing stamp project. Have a terrific week!

Happy Father's Day!
Well it is Father's Day-so Happy Dad's day to my hubby. I almost didn't get this card finished before I left on my trip this week but it came together quickly.
Just hope my son remembered to give it to his Dad!
I used papers from a 6x6 Echo Paper pack called Traveler. The hat and tie are die cuts from My Creative Time's Here's Lookin' at You stamp and die set as are the face and sentiment stamps.
My picture did not turn out so well, but I love the deep red papers with the black and grey.
here's to a fabulous Father's day for all families!

Happy Fathers Day Card
This week I am posting projects I have made ahead being my job has taken me on the road once again. This week I am in tropical Panama City, Panama.
Father's day is in just a few days. When I think of Father's Day, things like tools, golf, and fishing come to mind.
I've had this card design in mind since I first saw the cut files over at Miss Kate Cuttables a few months ago. I know it is a bit abstract, but I liked the idea of the large fisherman's hat where the top of the hat became the lake or more like a small pond for the fisherman in his boat.
I added the grommets to the hat vs the paper rings the file came with. The sentiment stamp is from a fabulous stamp set from WPlus9 called Fish More. Let me know what you think.

Stamp Annie Thing Reveal Day #2- Ooh La La!
Welcome back to day 2 of the Stamp Annie Thing June stamp release and blog hop.
If you have come from Annie's Blog, then you're in the right spot. If you just happened to stop by and want to start from the beginning of our mini release day hop, please click here.
Today the design team is revealing the newest stamp set over at Stamp Annie Thing called Ooh La La!. This stamp set reminds me of the wonderful weekend I spent with my friends many years ago in Paris.
I used the sophisticated french girl image, Brittney for my card today. She looks a bit sassy don't ya think. I paper pieced her outfit and added some glossy accents for her patent leather shoes and matching handbag. Brittney's quite the fashionista as she strolls by the Eiffel tower, another great image from this stamp set.
This set is perfect to go with all those fabulous french themed papers I see invading the paper market these days. I am guilty of picking up many of them myself just to be able to use this adorable stamp set with them.
Here's what the whole stamp set looks like which will be available to purchase tomorrow.

Die Cuttin' Diva's Challenge - Purple and Pearls.
It's time for another great Die Cuttin' Diva's weekly challenge.
The challenge this week is Purple and Pearls. Not too hard, so I thought, but this one really had me stumped. I don't use a lot of purple as a rule so I found this quite challenging.

I used a die cute that was a freebie from Miss Kate's Cuttables a few weeks ago. You can still snag it for 50 cents however.
I used dark purple as my card base and for the mats behind all the other papers. I added some doodles with my white pen and some sparkle with my gel sparkle pen as well.
I look forward to seeing what you create this week.

Stamp Annie Thing Bunny Hugs !
Happy or should I say Hoppy Monday! Hope you all had a terrific weekend.
Monday's have become my day to share with you projects using Stamp Annie Thing stamps.
For today's little project, I used the ever so cute Bunny Hugs to You stamp set. It's a tiny set but is big on possibilities.
I tried something new for this cute bunny. Instead of using my copic markers, I used a q-tip and chalk to add color to my image. It was just enough of soft color I needed for this little honey.
I did do some paper piecing of the bow and the skirt for the finishing touch.
Here's the whole set of stamps-- so many great sentiments.
Annie has been working on some new super cute stamps for an upcoming release in a couple weeks. Stay tuned for more about that coming soon!

Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon Java Great Day!
Welcome to my Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons DT day post.
Someone recently gave me a few Sees Latte Cafe lollipops and I have been wondering what to do with them. Yes, you might think I would have eaten them by now, but here's the deal, I don't like coffee or the taste of it in any way--gasp!
When I was thinking of a project to do for my design team day, I remembered the ever so cute Java Great day cut file set at PPPR. The lollipop and this cut file set were a match made for my caffeine loving friends.
I started with my lollipop holder which it cut using my die from My Creative Time.
I sized the coffee pot to about 1.75" tall, cut all the pieces and got gluing.
My Little Java friend looked like he had something to say so I went into my scrap closet and pulled out a great stamp set from My Creative Time that has all kinds of java related sentiments. I stamped the sentiment on a bubble shape from the Bubbles Speak file set. Oh, and this Bubbles Speak file set......FREE right now! Get yours here, right now. It's only free until Friday!
Once I had everything attached to the base holder, I added the lollipop and tied it up with a pretty ribbon.
When I cut small pieces like this I usually try to cut multiples so in case one doesn't cut right the first round, I have a back-up. Well, I was lucky and all pieces cut perfectly so I just made another lollipop treat holder. Now I can share a special treat with two friends this week.
Please stop by the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons blog this week. The other designers have some unbelievably creative projects to share with you.
Have a Java day!

Sketch challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas starts now!
Welcome to this weeks Die Cuttin' Diva's challenge where this week we want to see what you can do with the provided sketch as your starting point. I love seeing how everyone interprets the sketch to make it their own.
I recently came across this cute little Chick over at Treasure box Designs. She is super cute and fit the sketch perfectly. The chicken wire is a stamp from My Creative time. I added some burlap and a sentiment from K. Andrew stamps and some tiny black brads in the corners.
This week we have a great sponsor, Bombshell stamps. Some of the design team members have created fantastic projects for this challenge using the fantastic images from Bombshell stamps and this weeks sketch.
I look forward to seeing your interpretation of the sketch this week. Be sure to head over to Die Cuttin' Diva's to see what the other DT members have created.

Happy Monday!
I hope you all had a fabulous week. Last week was a busy travel week for me. My job took me to the exotic island of Bora Bora!! The island was my inspiration for my Stamp Annie Thing Design Team Day project this week.
"Pete the Parrot" from the Rare Bird stamp set for my card was just perfect!
I used up some 1/2" scraps of card stock by laying them in an alternating diagonal pattern. I then simply stamped my image and added some doodles to complete this super fast card.
