HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Hi Everyone!  There is a new challenge at SVG Cutting Files, the theme is anything Birthday related. Project must include a a file from SVG Cutting Files. 
Be sure to link your project at the blog or Facebook Galleria Group by December 15. The winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to the store.

For a little inspiration I did a birthday card that is also a gift card holder. The base of the card starts as a piece of card stock measuring 4.25" x 10". I scored it at the 4" and 8" mark along the long side and fold. Be sure the 2" flap is folded into the inside. This becomes the pocket for the gift card. Just use some score tape on the sides to secure it.

To the card base, I added a scalloped circle to frame my birthday cupcake. I used two SVG Cutting Files images, the freebie Valentine Cupcake and the Party Time Celebrate file and layered them together.  A few strokes of my glitter pen and I have a new birthday card for my stash.

Nutty for you!

Welcome back to another Die Cuttin' Diva's challenge. This week the challenge is to create a project with buttons. I love using buttons. My project this week I am sharing with you is a nutty little treat box. 

I started with the slider box die from My Creative Time.  I wrapped some burlap ribbon around it to get some texture and a rustic feel. Then I added the super cute squirrel from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. He goes perfectly with my sentiment from my own BugBites Candy Speaks stamp set. 

I finished my treat box off with a button tied up with some hemp and filled the box with a mini snicker bar.

Sweet Forest Friends!

Yeah- It's Friday!! I have a "Sweet" project to share with you today. These cute Chibi Forest Friends Lollipop covers we just released this week over at SVG Cutting Files. 

Aren't they just the cutest! Now don't be fooled by the photo, but these are jumbo size lollipop covers and would be great for a classroom treat, birthday party or just a special treat for any animal lover.

It's beginning to look like Christmas!

Hey everyone. I am back from spending a week in NYC for the NYC Marathon. So proud of my husband and son for finishing the marathon. Well, when I got home, mother nature greeted us with 3 inches of fluffy white snow. So, I might as well get started on some Christmas cards. 

Today is my design day for Digi My World  and a sneak peak at a new set of digital images set to be released tomorrow.

I used a new digital image that is part of the Getting Ready set. I colored and then cut out the image with the Cameo. I used foam tape to add the image to a scalloped mat. A bow, button and some sequins, my card was done.
