Jaded Blossom May Release Week Day Two - Movie Time!

Yeah- we are at day two of the Jaded Blossom May release. We get to show you two more stamp sets for this month.

I did a card that does double duty a a card and a gift card holder. The ticket add on stamps are great to custom create any special sentiment. Check out the movie negative stamp. Yes it's a stamp, and one of many from the Designer Tapes stamp set. You can now create and stamp your own Washi tape any time and in any color. How cool is that!
The pocket on the front holding the moving tickets is an svg file from the SVG Cutting Files store called Tip pocket.  I just attached it sideways to my card to fit my design. I added the popcorn and movie reel from the Movie Night file.

Let's take a good look at both featured stamps sets today.

Jaded Blossom May Release Week- Magic Happens!

It's day one of the Jaded Blossoms May release week.
Wow, there are some amazing stamps in this release!

I have a magical little treat box to share with you today. It is meant to look like the iconic sorcerers hat at Walt Disney World.

The hat was originally a witch hat file for Halloween that I found here.
I had to get creative to add those ears on the side of the hat.
The sentiment was stamped on a tag using the Flag die.
The top of the hat comes off to reveal a great little spot for some treats.

Here is a look at today's featured die and stamps.

May the 4th Be With you Blog Hop!

May the 4th be with You!
Welcome to the annual Star Wars Blog Hop Party!

This blog hop is sponsored by Jaded Blossom and SVG Cutting Files
If you are an avid Star Wars fan, you will be thrilled with the Galactic projects in store for you. The design teams have outdone themselves with fabulous creations!

Now if you came here from Mel's Blog, then you're in the right place, if not - you'll want to start at the beginning with Candace
You won't want to miss a single stop!

I did two projects for you today. The first is a treat box using an svg file of Jar Jar Binks specially created for this hop by Ann over at SVG Cutting Files. She also created a file for the box as well that you can find here
Once I had Jar Jar all put together, I started putting the box together and added some pattern paper mats to all the sides.
The sentiment on top is stamped on a mat that I cut using a portion of the Ticket Book Die. I also used the Candy Charms and Banner Dies for the second sentiment in the corner.
The box is filled with Hershey nuggets wrapped in card stock cut with the Candy Wrap Dies. The die I used has a jagged edge.

Now I couldn't forget about everyone's favorite robot, R2D2.
So I did a little treat bag with an R2D2 topper.
Using the gusset bags from Jaded Blossom, and inserted a 3" wide piece of card stock scored at 2" and 4".
I stamped the sentiment before placing the card stock inside the bag.
All the sentiments for my projects are from the Candy Wars stamp set

Now if you would like to have the Jar Jar and R2D2 files for your own projects Free...yes, I said FREE,  TODAY ONLY (ends PROMPTLY at 11:59 PST), ...well keep reading!

To get all of these amazing themed files free you must

Jaded Blossom Monthly Challenge- Anything 3D

If you're new to Jaded Blossom, be sure to jump over to their blog now and become a blog follower so you don't miss out on all the super fun stuff.
Also, visit the Garden of Creativity in Facebook and "Like" the JB Facebook Page.

Today kicks off a new Jaded Blossom Monthly Challenge and the criteria this month is to create any project that is 3D!

I am so looking forward to spring so I created a little flower basket I found on the Cricut cartridge, Spring Cottage.
I filled a 2" clay pot with with chocolates after I added some pretty flower stamped images to them from the Kawaii Candies stamp set. I wrapped them up in Gusset treat bag and tied it with a bow.

The sentiment is from the Smell the Flowers stamp set that I stamped onto a tag using the Flag die. The final touches are some white tule and a little flower using the Spring Dies and some Yellow Doodlebug Sprinkles.

I hope you will join us and link up your "3D" project on the Jaded Blossom Blog. Please be sure you check out the challenge rules before linking.

While you're there, check out what the rest of the design team came up with, they're amazing.

Have a crafty day!!
