SVG Cutting Files Monthly Challenge- for the Boys!

Hi Everyone!  There is a new challenge at SVG Cutting Files, this month we want to see your special projects for Boys!.  Just remember, the project just include something from SVG Cutting Files. Projects should be linked on the blog or Facebook Galleria Group by July 15. As always, there is a great prize up for grabs.

I picked up these little race cars a long time ago thinking I would do some sort of project for them. Well, that day has arrived.
I used the Elongated Gable box to make a race car garage which holds these 2 inch little race cars.

Here's a list of all the fun stuff I used on this project...
I hope you'll join us for this school themed challenge.

Cruising by.....

Happy Monday!!
It's my day over at the Jaded Blossom Blog and today I have a treat for those boys out there.  What little boy doesn't like race cars.

I used the Ticket Book die to make my treat topper and backing for my treat holder.
The little race car is from SVG Cutting Files here.

Here is the rest of the fun stuff I used to put this treat together.

Scrap Your Memories Blog Hop

Welcome to the Scrap Your Memories Blog Hop!
As always, our hops are sponsored by SVG Cutting Files & Jaded Blossom
This hop is for all your scrappers out there that need inspiration on your page layouts, not to mention a quick and easy way to do so!
24 hours long and ends PROMPTLY at 11:59 PM PST Saturday!

I always have at least one album in the works to scrap. So I love that Ann over at SVG Cutting files is making it easy for me to get those albums done by designing page layouts. All I need to do is cut the pieces and add my photos.

One of the albums I have in the works is one from a cruise a few years ago. I am about half done. The Cruising Right Along page layout was a perfect fit for my next page in the album.

The kit includes the die cuts, borders, photo frames and layered title.

I added a few fun sentiments and patterns to my banners using the following Jaded Blossom items....

Now about some free SVG Files!!!

Jaded Blossom Challenge- Crater's Choice!

If you're new to Jaded Blossom, be sure to jump over to their blog now and become a blog follower so you don't miss out on all the super fun stuff.
Also, visit the Garden of Creativity in Facebook and "Like" the JB Facebook Page.

Today there's a new Jaded Blossom Monthly Challenge and it's Crafter's Choice!!

While you are reading this, I will actually be on vacation. I am lucky enough to go with some friends on an Alaskan Cruise. That was the inspiration for my little project today.

The treat box is from the Silhouette Store here.

I wanted to use the fun flag paper for the box base, but only had it in a 6x6 paper pack from Carta Bella called Ahoy There. Well, I found this paper pack in digital format online here so I could print a 12x12 sheet of it for the box. Yeah!!

Once the box was filled with treats, I added a ribbon and a tag using the JB Mini Tag dies and the Beep Beep Stamps set. I also used the Beep Beep Candies stamps on the treats.

I hope you will join us and link up your Summer Fun project on the Jaded Blossom Blog. Please be sure you check out the challenge rules before linking.

While you're there, check out what the rest of the design team created. They are so extremely talented.

Have a crafty day!!

Jaded Blossom Mini July Release - Road Trip Treat Caddy

Hello! Jaded Blossom is having a special die release for July!
We are calling it the Candy Caddy Die Release

The Candy Caddy will be available for sale starting July 1st, 12:00 am (limited quantities available). Our design team member Trixie came up with this idea!

I used the caddy dies to make this holder for road trip snacks.

I used the tray portion for the bottom and then just folded the sides up wrapping a piece of card stock and ribbon around it to keep it together. It also looks like the road my little car is traveling on.

The little car SVG is from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons while the sun and sentiment are made using the  JB Mini Tag Dies and the JB Jeep Beep candies stamps.

Make sure to head over to Jaded Blossom to see what the rest of the team created.
Jaded Blossom also has a ton of fun stuff happening in July!

Jaded Blossom June release Day 2 - Bon Voyage

Yeah- it's day two of the June Jaded Blossom release week. Are you ready for another couple of fun stamp sets?

Today it's seems we are all about transportation with the new Beep Beep and Beep Beep Candies stamp sets.

I am going to be on a cruise ship later this summer therefore, my project reflects just that.
I just love this little Tug Boat treat box  (in my case, my little cruise ship) that was just released today over at SVG Cutting Files

This little boat goes together so easy with one cut for the top, one for the bottom and a couple little pieces for the embellishments.
I added a couple flags on a skewer that I cut down for the back of my ship. The flags were made by using the JB Treat Flag die set with a sentiment from the Beep Beep stamp set.

I wanted my boat to look like it is floating on water so I cut some strips of paper that had a wavy edge ( you could use a punch, wavy scissor, or tear for the same effect) and then trimmed them to measure the length of each side of the treat box bottom.

I attached them to the box bottom with a very thin piece of foam tape at the bottom. This allowed for the box top to slide in between the waves and the box bottom easily.

I used the Beep Beep candies stamps to embellish the chocolate treats. The box measures 4" wide and 4" tall from the bottom to the top of the smoke tube. Remember, when you open the file, size it at 80% for these measurements.

Here's a look at the complete stamp sets I used today.
