Happy Memorial Day!

Happy Memorial Day! Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend and remembering the reason for this holiday.

The beginning of this weekend started out raining. That gave me an opportunity to catch up on a scrappy wall art project I have been working on for quite some time now.

I had been looking for just the right pictures for my kitchen wall and finally gave up to making my own.

Here is the finished project.
Sorry for the angle, but it's hard to get pictures without all the reflection on the glass.

These prints finished up at 10" x 20" each. once framed.

The files were freebies from SVG Cutting Files many months ago. I mixed and matched other svg files to create the different flowers and birds on each.
For the flowers in this picture I used shamrock balloon shape from the SVG Cutting Files Chibi Shamrock Ballon Girl.

I used the Jaded Blossom Spring Dies 2 to make the clouds for all the prints.

The sunflowers in this print are from the SVG Cutting Files Sunflower Cindy File.

Hope you enjoyed seeing my finished wall art.
Have a crafty day!!

Folk Art for my Kitchen Wall!

Happy Friday! I am lucky that I have the day off today due to Easter being this weekend.

Today is also my design day over at SVG Cutting Files and Ann has out done herself with a new file of a primitive looking bird house. Sorry for the glare on the glass.
I have been looking for the right artwork to hang on a large wall I have in my kitchen. I had something in mind, but for years just could find the right print or prints.
I finally decided I would make my own.
I just love this schoolhouse version of the birdhouse.
Now if you love this file too, you can get it Free! Yup- this file is free to members of the SVG Cutting Files Facebook Gallery. You can find it here.

I added a couple little birds I found in the Silhouette store and some clouds using the Jaded Blossom Spring Dies 2 to finish off my scene before framing it.

The finished size of this print all framed is 10" wide by 20" tall.

This will be 1 of 4 total prints I need to do. So stay tuned to see the others.

Have a crafty day!
