Hey there,   I have a new card to share using a card sketch from the new July Bundle.

The July bundle is full of theme park items and I am a huge fan of one of the largest well known theme parks and therefore, this sketch was perfect for me to do this first project using the new bundle. 

I used Sketch 93 as my base for the page. Added a sentiment and a fun photo and my card is done!

The sentiment is form the Jaded Blossom Magical Memories stamp set.

Food Fare- Baked Beans!

Summer holidays are great for potluck and trying new recipes.

I recently tried these beans from a local grocery deli and loved them. I did a bit of searching online and found the recipe! These work great in the crock pot as well.

Since it's  my design day over at SVG Cut Club, I used Sketch 55 as my page design and just added my recipe.

Running the trails!

It's my day to post over at  SVG Cut Club.

I have a page layout today using a sketch file from a bundle a couple April's ago.

I used the sketch 2 from an older bundle, but no worries- all past page sketches and files are on the web site for you to get at anytime here.

I shifted my photo at the top to the left to make room for some journaling. Journaling is important scrapbooking so that years from now, you know who is who in the photos.

I used the sketch 49 from the new bundle to make my 8x8 recipe page.
The page layouts in all the bundles are perfect for quick scarpbook layouts or in my case recipe pages.

I am sure that you either have this recipe or have tasted these yummy bars. 

They are one of my all time favorites so they deserved a place in my scrapbook recipe book.

I live in Minnesota so this card is perfect for MN Viking football fans.

The base of the card was made using the SVG Cutting Files card Sketch 27. 
I love this sketch. just a few pieces to cut, add an image and sentiment and you have a finished card.

When I saw the stamp set from Jaded Blossom with the viking theme,  I thought it was made just for us in Minnesota!

I am using files from the July bundle release- page layout sketch 32, and yes, it is another recipe page. 

I am finding using the sketch layouts perfect for resizing to my 8x8 recipe book and getting caught up with the many recipes I need to scrap. 

This reprice is an all time favorite and great for a quick dinner. 

Love the little chef with his cute stache.

Humming Happy Birthday!

It's my design day over at SVG Cutting files Cut Club.

I am using card sketch from the June '16 bundle for today's Birthday card.
My mom loves birds and when we lived in the country we had many hummingbirds at the feeder all the time. 

I used a card sketch from SVG Cutting Files for the base of my card. All I had to do is add a sentiment and an image and i had a pretty Birthday card ready for the mail.

The sketch file comes with a heart shape for the corner which I replaced with the flower from the hummingbird file set. 

I added a bit of color to the hummingbirds throat with a very light pink copic marker.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I know, it s a few days early, but its never too early to send a little luck someones way with a green card. 

I used a card layout from SVG Cutting Files Cut Club. 

You can find it here. Its one my my favorites and a go to now for a quick card.

I used some water color paper and my color burst inks for the background mixing the green with yellow. It's like magic, just spray with water and watch the colorful background come to life.

I added the Leprechaun from the Wee Bit Irish cut file set from SVG Cutting files to the front along with the sentiment from My Creative Time.

I have a holiday card to share today that I did using one of the card layouts in the bundle, 

I started by cutting out the card elements which were the rectangle pieces and card base. 

I added mats behind them as well. 

The layout shows triangle flags across the top corner, but I substituted a string of lights instead. 

Finished it off with that cute St. Nick and a die cut sentiment.

Goody Goody Gumdrops

I'm starting to think about holiday baking. 

There are some great new files over at SVG Cutting Files that are perfect for baking page layouts. 

I did a recipe page layout using the new Goody Goody Gumdrop Title. I saw this recipe on Pinterest and know it will be a favorite this season.
