Spooky Greetings!

Happy Friday!

Been playing with some color burst inks this week to get some fall colors for Halloween cards.
It took a few sheets of paper to get the orange blend I was happy with.

I used bits of these orange papers on all four cards below.

I used several different stamps on these cards.
A real mix and match of Halloween stamps.
I found it to be a good challenge to use the same stamp image and create different looks.

Here is the list of goodies I used.

Jaded Blossom Scalloped Square dies
Jaded Blossom Card Mat dies
Jaded Blossom Halloween dies
Jaded Blossom Border Dies 2
My Creative Time Too Cute to Spook Stamps and dies
My Creative Time Fright Night stamps

Have a Fang-tastic Day!

I was playing around with some Halloween stamps over the weekend and put together this simple card. I saw a similar card on Pinterest which was my inspiration.
Normally I would not have this much white space on a Halloween card but I think it works.

I did some very simple coloring wiht copic and other markers in my stash. I only have one grey copic and it was too light. Looks Like Ineed to go shopping!

Jaded Blossom December Blog Hop-Happy Holidays

Hey Everyone!
It's time for the Jaded Blossom December Die Release Blog Hop!  To make this hop special, Jaded Blossom has released two new sets of dies and in time for the gift giving season!!

The Design Team has been busy creating not one, but two amazing projects for today's hop.
So grab that cup of coffee and hop along with us!

First up is a quick treat holder.
I simply used the largest scallop oval die and scored it 1/2" on the left and right of the center point on the widest side.
I punched a hole at hte top to tie it closed with some ribbon and slid some chocolate bars inside.
I embellished with the following stamps and dies...

Next up is something for the adults on your list.
I added a a pretty scalloped tag to the front of the wine tag layering the scallop oval and stitched oval die pieces. I then added a pretty sentiment and a couple other embellishments.
The new dies really bring this tag to a level of elegance.

JB goodies I used on this project are...Wine Tag dieChristmas Dies, Christ is Born and Elegant Holiday Greetings

Now here is a look at both sets of dies released today.
STITCHED OVAL DIES- $22.99

Jaded Blossom Sept Release day Four- Witch Crossing!

It's Thursday and day four of the September Jaded Blossom release week.
What a great week and so many fantastic ideas using these new stamps and dies.

Today, I  created a a little treat holder that can be made with things in your scrap closet.
I sized some colored mat paper to fit the from of my treat card and then added the tag with sentiment along with some designer tapes. You may think those are washing tapes, but nope, they are the stamped using the new Halloween Designer tapes

To make the envelop holder I folded an A2 envelope in half and then unfolded it and open up the flap.
Now cut from the top of the flap to the fold line or top of the envelope.
Now tuck the right half of the flap inside the envelope.
Glue down the left side of the flap as if you were sealing the envelope.

You can see in the picture below, the right side now is a pocket for a treat.

Other goodies I used on today's project are...
SVG Cutting Files Chibi Witch on Broom
Jaded Blossom Halloween Dies
Jaded Blossom Halloween Treats 2

Here is a look at the complete set of stamps a being featured by the Design Team today.

You've Been Boo'd

You've been boo'd on this September Monday!!

These little treats are perfect for the classroom of co-workers and easy to do when you have many to make.
I used two Hershey snack size candy corn chocolate bars stack on top of each other. I wrapped a 2" band of pattern paper round each.
On top of that I added some black tulle. You could use any ribbon or twine as well.

The ghost and tag were cute from the Jaded Blossom Halloween Dies. I simple stamped a PKS face on the ghost. Any face will work. If you don't have any face stamps, just draw a face. After all, its a ghost,...a couple dots for eyes is all you need.

The tag was stamped with my sentiment from the Jaded Blossom Halloween Treats stamp set.

Fall colors are mostly thought of as orange, brown, yellow, green. However, when I think of fall, I also think of Halloween and the colors of green, purple, orange, black, etc.

I used the Goody Beg die for my project today and added my little witch to the front. She is quite funny with her green face.

My witch came together by using the Chibi Witch from SVG Cutting Files. I cut off her feet so that I could use the witch feet from the Halloween Treats stamp set. Don't worry- she didn't feel a thing!

I stamped the witch feet on my background paper and colored them with my markers. Then I added my witch on top.

List of goodies I used on today's project...

Frog or Prince?

Happy Monday!!
It's my day over at the Jaded Blossom Blog to share a project with you and the question today is Frog or Prince?

We all have heard the fairy tale about kissing the frog to get our prince, but what if the frog is chocolate?

Today I have a treat bag project to share with you and look-- a chocolate frog!!!

I found this chocolate frog at Target of all places.
I matched it up with this little princess die cut from SVG Cutting Files here

All papers were from Doodlebug and the cute princess face is from Peachy Keen.

Here's a complete list of the Jaded Blossom items I used today...

Jaded Blossom December Mini Release and Challenge - A Tasty Holiday!

Hello! Jaded Blossom is having a special die release for December!
It's called the Goody Bag Die!

It's officially the holiday season and that makes me think of cookies.
The Goody Bag die works perfectly for small treats like my gingerbread cookies.
I used a die from the card mat dies to make a little window so you could see me cookies in the treat bag.
I then cut and embossed the gingerbread boy from the Gingerbread wishes stamp and die set  to add with foam tape to the front. The sentiment is also from the Gingerbread wishes stamp set which I stamps on a tag using the Halloween Dies.

I used the JB A2 card sleeves to slip in 2 cookies and tie them up with a bow before inserting them into the treat bag.

The Goody Bag Die will be available for sale starting December 1st, 12:00 am
(limited quantities available).
There will be no stamp release this month.

Make sure to head over to Jaded Blossom to see what the rest of the team created.

There is also a new challenge starting and it's Crafter's Choice! Please be sure you check out the challenge rules before linking over at the Jaded Blossom Blog

I'll be back tomorrow with another project using t his new die.

Now if you're here from KATE's blog you're in the right place, if you just happened to stop by, you'll want to start at the beginning so you don't miss anything.  I have the complete line up at the bottom of this post.

My hop project today is a Haunted House treat box.

The treat box is a simple, yet versatile box the SVG Cutting Files Simple Treat box

My haunted little house has a purple roof that I created with several scalloped strips using the new Jaded Blossom Scallop Slider and Topper die. Once I had all the strips lined up, I cute the whole thing with the die and folded over the top before attaching to the treat box top.

The window is made using the Card Mat dies and the Candy Wrap dies for shutters.
Of course the bats, spider web, drippy goo and the ghostly greeter in the window are from this weeks release, Halloween Dies. The sentiment was from an older stamp set, Halloween Treats.

I sandwiched two bat dies together for each one with a very thin piece of wire between that I wrapped around my bow.

I hope you enjoyed this weeks release projects as much as we have.

Jaded Blossom September Release Day 1 - Be Scary!

Welcome to day one of the Jaded Blossom September Release week!
i love this time of year, Fall and Halloween, so this release is going to be super fun!

My spooky treat today was done using the new Jaded Blossom Scallop slider & Topper die. This is not part of the release, so you can get it now!  I started layering the topper with some spooky papers, and a die cut spider web and drippy border from the new Halloween Dies.

The little Chibi Vampire from SVG Cutting Files is so cute, even for a little monsters. The face was stamped using PKS Make A Monster Face stamp set.

Using the new Spooky Labels stamps, I stamped a sentiment in red ink and attached it with some foam tape on top of the web.

Now my topper was ready for the bag filled with sour cherry candies. If you need treat bags, like I used here, you can find those in the Jaded Blossom store here as well. I used the 3x4 bags for this project.
