Food Fare- Pizza Bread!

It's design day for me over at Digi My World. I just love the little chef images so I had to go back and use just one more.

. 

This little chef is a clipart image from the Little Chef Pizza Boy set.This simply means the images are all pre-colored for you so they're ready to print and cut for your project. 

Of course, you can find all these images as digital stamps so you can do your own coloring.

I  have been trying to work on adding recipes to my 8x8 recipe books. Though my goal is to get all my family favorites done, I couldn't resist doing a page for this new Pinterest recipe I found a few weeks ago. It's very yummy and simple. 

The Little chef was printed and cut at 4". I also added a shadow layer so he would stand out more against the background.  the clipart really makes putting these pages together a snap.

Happy Summer!

I think Summer is finally here- school is just about out and that means sun filled days at the beach. 

I have a card today using a new cut file that will be released the end of this week from SVG Cutting Files called Chibi Sandcastle. 

My card is a simple 5x5 of which I added some pattern papers and my cut file that measures 3.5" tall. The sentiment is a stamp from My Creative Time stamped on a circle and attached with some foam tape.

Jaded Blossom Monthly Challenge- Father's Day!

Today kicks off a new Jaded Blossom Monthly Challenge and the theme this month is anything Father's Day.

Father's Day cards and cards for guys in general are always a challenge. I am always trying to find a design that is appropriate for our more senior fathers. 

My design this year is just some basic shapes and a simple sentiment. I used the Jaded Blossom Card Mat dies for the background mat and the sentiment mat. It gives it a nice faux stitch effect. 

The sentiment is from the Jaded blossom Father's Day stamp set and papers are from 6x6 paper stack by Authentique called Natural. I love the colors with the dark teals, golds, and the distressed look.

Proud to be an American!

I'm here today with a patriotic card featuring a new cut file being released in the SVG Cutting Files store on Friday. Yeah- that's today!!

This set is called the Sailor/Navy add-on for the popular paper dolls found here. 

There are many parts to this new set but I used just one, the sailor outfit.

The back of one of the pattern papers had a flag pattern and just happened to be the perfect size for the little flag in my sailors hand. 

The new file set includes this sailor outfit along with a light house, seagull, small ship, letter in a bottle, and more. 

The sentiment is from My Creative Time with pattern papers and stars from Doodlebug.
