Grillin n Chillin Bug Hop Part 2!!

Welcome to BugBites first ever
Bug Hop Part 2!
To celebrate the beginning of summer, I am hosting two consecutive weekends of Bug Hops.
If you joined us last weekend, welcome back.

This weekend is part 2 or all about Chillin’. Chillin' can mean many things to many people. For me it is sitting in a lawn chair on the deck or on my front porch with a cold beverage just enjoying the outdoors without having to have 12 layers of clothes and a parka on.

It can also mean, taking a dip in the water and wiggling your toes in the sand at the beach.
Whatever it means to you, that is what this weekends hop is celebrating.
This card is my idea of Chillin'!
I used another of my favorite carts, Pack Your Bags.  The sentiment is my own- more on that to come later.
The postage stamp background was cut at 5" from page 60; the island was cut at 4.26" from p.45 and the lounging gal from p. 59 cut at 2.37". the sunny paper happened to have that sunburst on it- I just positioned it to cut in the right spot.

A whole new line up of designers await you  along the bug hop trail featuring a project based on the Grillin’ & Chillin’ theme to inspire you as well-- they have done an outstanding job.  I can't wait for you to see what they have created for you.

What’s super exciting about this bug hop is you too can participate by creating a project and linking it up here for a chance to win the Life's A Party Cricut Cartridge.

But, there’s a twist.
Your project must include at least one Cricut cut and one of the critters that have been hidden within some of the bug stop blogs.

Be sure to visit all the bug stops in the list below to find all your critter choices. Then pick one to include on your project before linking up. The critter you pick can be any size, color, sticker, diecut, etc on your project but must be one of the three hidden in the hop line up.

While you are looking for the critters, be sure to check out the blog candy that each designer has to offer you as well. You don't want to miss out on any of it!

Let's get started.
Here is the Bug Hop line up for you to follow.

Remember, once you have hopped to all the bug stops, it's your turn to show us your Grillin’ & Chillin’ project.

Bug Hop Challenge Rules:
Be a BugBites follower, include at least one Cricut cut and one of the hidden critters (must be one of the critters hidden in one of the hop posts, not just any bug) on your project. Project must be linked up by Midnight CST June 6 to be eligible for the prize.

Have fun and thanks for hopping with us!

Oh, I've never been first which is exciting but on to more important things which is your fabulous chillin' layout. Especially like how it looks like a postage stamp with the postage stamp cut border. Thanks for opportunity to win & now I can get started on mine and look for the critter choices.

Guess I was #2 commenting which is just as exciting as being #1. Could not get to Laura's blog & could not comment on last person's blog since I did not find a place to put a comment but I made it all the way thru the others. Now to begin my project since I have all 3 critters.

Cute card! I also want to add thanks for hosting. Lots and lots of great ideas for summer scrapping! Our weather is giving me LOTS of time to spend scrapping also, because no one wants to be outside in cold rain! lol

Hi Barb!
I really want that cartridge so I'm going to do my best to come up with something in my super limited time. I still haven't posted my FCCB project yet! Ugh, hate being late! I'm excited to check out the hop though. Thanks for putting it on!
