Santa Treats!

Everyone! There is a new challenge at SVG Cutting Files, this month we have a "Christmas Treat" theme. Just remember, the project must include something from SVG Cutting Files. Projects should be linked on the blog or Facebook Galleria Group by January 14. As always, there is a great prize up for grabs.

I have a holiday treat bag to share today. I filled a small treat bag with some chocolate kisses. Aren't these cute with the wrappers that look like Santa's hat!

I added the Santa using the Mustache Santa file in the store here.

Just Stuff-it Blog Hop!

Great little small gifts and stocking stuffer inspiration for you to whip up for the upcoming holiday!!

The DT has been busy creating little projects with a big bang! EOS lip balm is all the rage these days so my project today is a treat ornament using one of those lip balms.

You can put this together in a matter of minutes making it a perfect last minute stocking stuffer.

I added some little touches by embossing the beard and hat brim with divine swirls and swiss dots embossing folders.

The holly was added using the Jaded Blossom Christmas Dies and the finishing touch of a simple holiday sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom Merry & Bright stamp set.

Penguin Kisses for a new Jaded Blossom Challenge!

It's time Jaded Blossom's Jaunary Challenge!

This months challenge is "Winter theme!"

Being inspired by the snow and cold, I came up with this treat tube holder filled with Penguin Kisses.
I used the Winter Dies to make a multi-layer snowflake.

The adorable penguin is from the SVG Cutting Files store here.

I warn you though, this set of penguins some with three versions. I had a hard time deciding which to use. They are all so cute!

With my snowflake and penguin now attached to the front of the treat tube, also from JB, I cut a strip of paper and stamped a sentiment on it before wrapping around the top of the tube.

The sentiment is from the Merry & Bright stamp set.

Christmas Movie Blog Hop!

One of my favorite holiday movies is a claymation show called The Year without A Santa Claus! It's not as popular as many of the others, but was always one of my favs and of course the main narrative character, Santa!

For gift Giving I am finding that gift bags are the way to go. No worrying about neat folded corners and tape when wrapping packages. Especially those odd shaped items.

So my project is a gift bag that holds some special surprise treats.

I used some Doodlebug papers for my base background and added the super adorable Santa cut file to the front. My sentiment is from the Merry & Bright stamp set and stamped on a tag from the Mini Tag Dies 2 die set.

The treat bag is only 5x7 so fairly small but perfect for tiny gifts.
