Christmas in July!

Hey there! Today is my Design Team day for SVG Cutting Files Cut Club.

Today I used a card sketch layout from the July bundle for my Christmas themed card.
It's never too early to start those Christmas cards.

I know the Gnome girl isn't an elf, but she looks like an elf you might find at the north pole.
I replaced one of the elements in the card sketch file with the die cut of a snowflake.

That's what makes the card sketches so great as they provide a strong foundation for the card design on which to build upon by adding or changing elements, changing the orientation, etc.

Holiday Treats!

I am delighted to be a guest designer this week here at Jaded Blossom. 

Today I am sharing with you a little last minute treat box I did.

I love giving cookies as little gifts to neighbors and friends so this was a perfect box for that. 

I found the box on the silhouette store here.

I used several JB dies and stamps to decorate the box. 

I did a double bow using the bow die and punched a tiny hole in the center to secure all the piece with a white brad.

Today is my design day over at SVG Cutting Files and today  am sharing a treat project using a new file in the store just today. Perfect for those homemade goodies.

The base box is a kraft box you can find on the Jaded Blossom site.  I added a snow print border frame to the top before adding the icicles across the top.

I love this baker girl- need to use her on a few scrapped recipe pages for holiday cookies.

Jaded Blossom November Release Hop- Felt Gift Card holder

Today I am using the new Folding Gift Card Die. I used it with some felt.
I then did a simple blanket stitch around all of it to create a white border.

I embellished the front with some snowflakes also cut using the Jaded Blossom Winter Dies. 

After I stitched the sides together, I added a tag again cut from felt with the JB mini Tag Dies 2 die set and stamped my image right on the felt. 

Now that I have discovered cutting felt with my dies, I can't wait to create other projects with them,

Jaded Blossom March Release Blog Hop- Hoppy Easter

Today did an Easter decoration that is also a 3d box. It can hold candy treats, maybe little gifts for Easter or just sit on the mantle to help Spring find it's way to us soon!

I decorated the bunny bonnet with some flowers that I made using the JB Winter Dies. I just cut several out of scrap papers and layered them up. 

I also added the butterfly using the Spring Dies 2. I finished it off with a tag from Jaded Blossom Mini Tags 2 and a sentiment from the Honey Bunny stamp set released this week.

Penguin Kisses for a new Jaded Blossom Challenge!

It's time Jaded Blossom's Jaunary Challenge!

This months challenge is "Winter theme!"

Being inspired by the snow and cold, I came up with this treat tube holder filled with Penguin Kisses.
I used the Winter Dies to make a multi-layer snowflake. 

The adorable penguin is from the SVG Cutting Files store here.

I warn you though, this set of penguins some with three versions. I had a hard time deciding which to use. They are all so cute!

With my snowflake and penguin now attached to the front of the treat tube, also from JB, I cut a strip of paper and stamped a sentiment on it before wrapping around the top of the tube. 

The sentiment is from the Merry & Bright stamp set.

Holiday Cheer!

It's Friday!! what a busy week at work. Seems the days are flying by! I still have way to much to do to be ready for Christmas.

I did get this little gift project done.

It's a simple little bottle tag for this big fat jar of hot cocoa mix. 

I'm a fan of all the Chibi SVG Cutting files and this one simply called Snowmen was a perfect fit for this hot cocoa tag.

The bottle has somewhat of an odd size opening so I created my own hang tag using the Silhouette software.

Happy Winter!

Happy Thursday. Today I have a Digi My World project to share. It's a winter theme card using the DMW  Winter Kids Clipart file. 

Once I had my card designed, I sized the clipart on the computer and printed and cut it as a circle. You can do this with your Cameo software or by using a large circle punch or perhaps a circle die. 

I have the old Creative Memories cutting templates that worked perfectly. 

I added a snowflake which was made us the Jaded Blossom Winter Dies and the sentiment fro the Your So Cool stamps by My Creative Time.

SVG Cutting Files Monthly Challenge- Anything Christmas!

Hi Everyone!  There is a new challenge at SVG Cutting Files, this month we want to see all those holiday creations. Just remember, the project just include something from SVG Cutting Files. Projects should be linked on the blog or Facebook Galleria Group by January 14. Jaded Blossom October Release Week- Day 2- Snow people treats!

Welcome to day two of the Jaded Blossom October Release week!

Keeping the holiday theme going this week, I have some snowy treats to get you all in the winter spirit. 

Don't ya love these snow girls. They are new from SVG Cutting Files called Snowgirl Duo.

I covered some mint patties and added a pretty snowflake on the top using the new Winter Dies. 

The topper is done using the Fancy Topper Die as well as the Christmas Signs stamps we showed you yesterday. You can find the treat bag I used here as well.
