Yes, I know, it isn't even Halloween yet. But never too early to start on those Thanksgiving day cards. I was inspired by the Scrappy Moms Stamp Challenge to dust off the Doodlecharms cart for a project. I don't use this cart as much as I should, but it clearly is a good standby. A great selection of cuts. I think this was my second cartridge I ever owned.
Enjoy what is left of the weekend.
Here's How I did it....
Standard A2 card base
Paper all from my stash
Turkey/layers cut at 2.75" from Doodlecharms
Ribbon is from Stampin Up
Sentiment is from Charmed Life by Scrappy Mom Stamps
Chalk and pop dots for dimension on that little roasted turkey

My Creative Time DT entry
Hey all-- I wasn't sure I would have time to do an entry for Emma's DT call but I couldn't stop thinking about it and how awesome it would be to be a part of her team and work with her to showcase her fantastic stamps.
I have a few stamp sets from Emma, but not nearly all that I want. You can bet, they are on my xmas list.
I was going to do a card using the new banner kit, it is just so cute and fun, but I am sad to say, my cuttlebug has experienced a life ending injury, therefore, I did not have a way to use her banner dies at the moment.
So I pulled out all the Creative Time stamps I had for inspiration. I found this cute sentiment that really says it all. I am not a coffee person, but give me a good cup of hot chocolate and I'm there.
Have a great weekend.
Here's how I did it...
All paper is from my scrap stash
4.25" x 6" card base
Lacy Labels for the little squares
Winter Frolic for the chocolate bon bon
Simply Charmed for the glue and scissor
CM Cheerful Seasons for the coffee mug
Sentiment from My Creative Time My favorite Sayings Stamp set
Twine from the Twinery
Some eyelets from my stash

Food Fare Friday and a Challenge entry
Hey all you friendly bloggers.... so sorry I have been missing from my blog the last week. Work is just crazy for me right now. Not a lot of spare time.
My blog and Cricut are feeling a bit neglected. I am sad to say it probably is going to be that way the next week.
I am traveling all next week to NYC...too bad that little portable Cricut isn't out yet.
So this afternoon, I am taking a few minutes to post this wonderful fall pumpkin recipe.
If you saw the last posts about my scrapbook retreat weekend, you will remember my friend Erin made a pumpkin desert for dinner one night. I scrapped the recipe to exchange with all the gals.
I used Paper Doll Dress up for the pumkin, Maratha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art for the grass and Pop-Up Neighborhood for the corn stalks
The super cute Scare-crow is an SVG file from MyScrapchicks.com.
I ran the grass through my crimping tool for more dimensions.
I am also going to link this up to the Cooking with Cricut sketch challenge this week.
Have a great weekend.

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Me Monday # 83 - Spooky Time
Happy Monday everyone. It is back to work today. But before we start the day, it is time for another FCCB Challenge Me Monday Challenge. This week, we are looking for your Spooky projects with a ghost on it.
For my little card I used the Paper Doll Dress Up cart for the ghost and the cat. Finally used my new Creative Time Bingo stamp set, and the Maratha Stewart web punch.
Was pretty quick to put together.
I hope to see your "Ghostly" project over at FCCB this week.

Saturday and Still scrappin'
Well, tonight is always the part of a scrapbooking weekend that I like the least--it means tomorrow I need to pack up and go home.
Yesterday, all my gals receive a little snack in the middle of the day..not that we didn't already have enough snacks, but who can turn down M&M's.
I found the template online for this great test tube box.
Then on their pillow before going to bed, they each received a BugBites Magic Spells stamp set.
I also made little books with "Magic Spells", really just 10 challenges to complete over the weekend. I made the books with my mini Your Story Machine.
If they do all the challenges they get a prize. The Prize....a new Cricut cartridge!
Gotta go- I still want to get a few more page layouts done tonight!

C360 Spooky Halloween Blog Hop Winner
Sorry for the delay in announcing the winner of the BugBites Magic Spells stamp set for leaving a comment on my post for the Cricut 360 Blog Hop.
I have been having lots of fun with my friends at my scrapbook retreat. We just finished dinner and exchanged recipes. We did a fall recipe exchange- everyone did 10 copies of an 8x8 page layout with a favorite fall recipe. So Now I have 9 new recipes to try. Mine was a Pumpkin Pecan Dessert, which we had for dessert tonight. My friend Erin made it for us. Doesn't it look yummy! Way to go Erin!
Ok- so on to the winner---it is
Tracy from Owl Be Craftin' said...Very cute! I love the spider web paper!
Congrats Tracy!
It is Friday!!!
Oh my - what a week. I am glad it is Friday. Been working quite a bit even though I was suppose to be on vacation since Wednesday.
Thanks goodness for a couple great co-workers that have helped me out greatly!
So as of last night I was 90 minutes from home at a wonderful scrapbooking retreat home. Myself, along with 9 other gals are making a weekend of scrapping. I have planned lots of fun challenges and will be awarding prizes throughout the weekend. I did not go to sleep until after 2:30am this morning. Just had to finish a page layout.
So upon arrival, my gals were greeted with a goody bag of treats and a book of challenges to complete. If they complete the challenges, they win a big prize.More on that later.
Each gal gets a 6 foot table. My theme is Magic Spells, basically Halloween theme.
Here is how I marked the tables so they would know where they would be scrapping for the weekend.
I then also marked the bedrooms for where they would be sleeping. Here are my door markers.....
Each night, I surprise my gals with a little treat. This was the treat Thursday night. It was filled with candies, a gel pen and small bottle of Glossy Accents.
The box is a cut file from MyScrapChick.com
I will be back in a bit announcing the winner of the Spooky Halloween Blog Hop Give A Way.

I am glad to be home and looking forward to the coming weekend when I join my 9 friends for a long weekend of scrapping!. I can't wait.
This week over at Fantabulolus Circut, the Challenge Me Monday Challenge is Purple People Eaters.
We have a great sponsor that allowed the design team to use 1 of 2 different SVG file sets for this challenge.
I choose to use some of the little characters from the Spooky Friends svg set from SVG Attic.
There are 9 different files, not bad for the one low price for all of that.
So for my project, I decided to do a step card, but made it a "biggie" since I wanted my little costumed friends to be big enough. So this card when folded flat measures 5"x7"
I am really happy with how it turned out. I added some cuts from my Cricut as well as some 3D stickers I had in my stash. Not sure I would trick or treat at that spooky looking house.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge. please be sure to swing by SVG Attic to see the cute files they have for you.

A little Halloween greeting
Well, it is Wednesday and I am on a plane to Hartford, CT. Love the east coast this time of year. The fall foliage is really pretty.
I am hoping to get to an AC Moore or Hobby Lobby store. I see on the Cricut website, that they are a retailer that is suppose to have the Country Fair cartridge. So is Michael's and Joann's but neither of them seem to have it. I am crossing my fingers.
For today- I have this cute little Halloween card. I forgot how many cute cuts the Hello Kitty Cart has.
The paper is from my stash and the ribbon I picked up from Michael's. Love my little sentiment from the BugBites Magic Spells stamp set. It is one of my favorites.
Stay tuned for the Cricut 360 Spooky Halloween Blog Hop coming up Friday. I will have some blog candy and a special price on my stamps!

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Me Monday # 81 - Wall Decor
Happy Monday- another week gone and we are well into October. I got my final fall scrapbook retreat items all finish and mostly packed up. Good thing since I head to Hartford on Wednesday for work, so not a lot of time to scrap this coming week.
This weeks FCCB challenge is wall decor. In the spirit of Halloween, I did this little 6x6 framed witch shoe. I picked up the frame for around $2 at the local craft store. I can hang it on the wall or it has a stand on the back so that it will stand anywhere in the house I wish.
I love this shoe cut from the Happy Haunting cartridge. It goes perfectly with my sentiment from my All Year Round stamp set.
Here's How I did it...
Base is 6" x 6" and paper is from my stash
Shoe/layers cut at 3.5" from Happy Hauntings
Green mat cut from Lacy Edges
Brads and ribbon from my stash
EK punch for orange ruffle

Food Fare Friday
It's been a while since I posted a Food Fare Friday.
So here is a favorite recipe I came across last fall. They make a bushel full of little cookies about the size of a quarter. You can make them bigger, but the little ones are perfect to dip and snack on.
I really like how this recipe page turned out.
If you have a cool fall day, and have some time to bake, give this recipe a shot. They freeze well too.
Paper is all from my stash
Scarecrow/layers from Celebrate with Flourish
Wheat from My World
Pumpkins from Holiday Cakes
Leaves from CM pocket punch

Link up for Pink Party
Hey everyone- my day has been really busy and my computer has not been cooperating. So needless to say, a frustrating day all around.
As you all may know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. It's all about Pink!
I am happy to be a sponsor over at Just Jolie, Just Create for Celeste, Gaby and Jolie's link up party.
Lots of days to link up a project.
I had this card in mind since last week and finally got time to get it done.
This ribbon cut is ion a new cart I picked up called Autumn Celebrations. I was surprised at all the stuff on that cart.
If you have not done so already, get that pink paper out and do up a card to show your support. There are lots of places to link up, but Jolie has TONS of prizes.
Other places to link up...
Here's how I did it....

Ribbon/layers cut at 4/25" from Autumn Celebrations

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Me Monday # 80-Pumpkin Time
I hope everyone had a great weekend. I was in my scrap room most of it and yesterday in the yard cutting down some perennials and raking leaves.
It was a beautiful day in MN.
Today's challenge at Fantabulaous Cricut is Pumpkin Time. Pumpkins are on everyone's mind right now. Carving, eating, decorating, you name it they are everywhere right now.
Over the weekend, My Scrap Chick was having a sale on cut files-60% off! I have a habit of purchasing these files, and then forgetting I have them. I really need to cut all of them and put them in a binder for reference so it is easier to see which ones I have.
Anyway- I found this really cute witch. I have to admit, she was a bit tricky to glue together once I had everything cut, but once I figured out how to line everything up, I really like how she looks.
My pumpkin is from the Freshly Picked cartridge.
Here's how I did it...
Standard A2 card base
Pattern paper is from Fancy Pants- all others from my scrap stash
Witch from MyScrapChick.com
Pumpkin/layers cut at 4.11" from Freshly Picked
Lots of chalk
Ribbon from my stash

Mitten Weather--Not Yet!!
No- it's not mitten weather yet, but i am afraid it will be here soon.
My Pink Stamper is having a Christmas Card Challenge today.
So here is my little holiday card.
The sentiment is from my new BugBites Mistletoe stamp set.
The mittens are from one of my all time favorite carts, Jolly Holidays.
I remember last year when this cart came out the day after Thanksgiving at Wal-mat. Oh my, I was way up north at family, and the closest Wal-mart was an hour away! By the time I got there, they were sold out. I called around to as many stores that would be somewhat on my way home. I finally found one and the gal was nice enough to hold it for me until I got there to get it. It was well worth the effort. I use this cartridge a lot during the winter months.
Here's how I did it...
Pattern paper from First Edition, Christmas Joy Mini stack all others from my scrap stash
Base of card is cut at 4.25" from CTMH Art Philosophy-this is my first cut with this cart
Mat is cut at 4" from CTMH Art Philosophy-this is my first cut with this cart
Mittens/layers cut at 3.5" from Jolly Holidays
snowflakes punched from CM pocket punch
Sentiment from BugBites Mistletoe stamp set
Twine from Twinery
Chalk and glitter pen
World Card Making Day!
Hey everyone- it is World Card Making Day. For some of us, every day is card making day, right?
I have a cute little Halloween card to share with you today. It features one of my stamps from my new Magic Spells stamp set.
I have been using my Mini Monsters cartridge quite a bit lately getting ready for a scrapbook retreat in a few weeks. That cart has this really cute frog that I just had to use on something. Don't you just love those squiggly eyes with the eye lashes.
Scrappy Moms Stamps is also having a challenge to use this Mini Monsters cart, so I will be linking up this project there as well.
Here's How I did it...
basic A2 card size
Paper from my stash
Pattern paper is from Echo Paper
Frog/Layers cut at 2" from Mini Monsters
Broom/layers cut at 4.6" from Mini Monsters
