Well, not really. Just having fun with the Scrappy Moms Challenge this week, make a project with a cartoon character.
I came across Mr. Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland on the Disney Classics cartridge. It seemed to be a good fit with the Scrappy Moms Stamp set, Freshly Brewed.
Here's how I did it...
Standard A4 card base
Pattern paper from My Minds Eye Tickled Pink 6x6 packer pad
Rabbit/layers cut at 4.25" from Disney Classics Cartridge
Sentiment from SMS Freshly Brewed stamp set
Twine from Twinery.

I won!!!
Wow, it has been such a busy week and I have not had a minute to craft, post or even read all the blogs I follow. So, I was super excited when I discovered I was a winner over at Fantabulous Cricut for my hot cocoa card.
It really was such a super surprise and I even won a prize! Cool!
I hope to get a little crafting in this weekend.

New Year Challenge Winner.
It's time to announce the winner of the BugBites New Year Challenge. First, Thank You to those that found time to link up a project. I really enjoyed seeing all the creations. They are all wonderful and I wish I had enough cartridges to send to everyone.
I went to Random.org to select the winner....
The winner is Tracy from Owl Be Craftin'. Her card is so cute with the bug and leaves on the branch. She really carried the BugBites banner theme into her card.
Congrats Tracy. Please email me at BugBites411@gmail.com with your mailing address so I can get your new Cricut cartridge out to you.

Great Valentine Matchbox treat card
I saw this idea earlier this week where Kimberly made a cute matchbox card/valentine and had to try it.
It is so super cute- I love it --thanks Kimberly for this cool idea.
I used the elephant cut from the Holiday Cakes cartridge that is the give a way for my hosted Challenge this week. Don't be fooled- this cartridge is not just for cake decorating. It has some great cuts for cards and page layouts throughout the year.
There is still time to enter the challenge to win this cart and right now chances of winning are really good.
Here's how I did it...
Pattern paper from Doodlebug Designs
All other paper from my scrap stash
Elephant and layers cut from Holiday cakes
Heart Blocks Cuttlebug folder
Sentiment from My Creative Time You Had Me At Chocolate stamp set

For the Birds
I am still working to keep up with all the challenges out there.
Exploring Cricut has a challenge to kick off the year called Winter Wonderland. The challenge is to create a winter scene or activity.
I totally started with something different before I ended up with this design. It is a very simple winter scene but one many of us see it everyday out our window...the birds and the squirrels looking for nibbles under the snow.
Have a great Day!
Here's How I did it....
All paper from my stash
Card base and mat are from CTMH Art Philosophy cut at 5.5"
Tree and layers cut from Jolly Holidays cart
Birds and Squirrel from Winter Woodland cart
Ribbon from Stampin' Up
Sentiment from CTMH Bundled Buddies stamp set
Stickles for that glittery snow on the tree branches

Hot Chocolate anyone?
I am not a coffee drinking and have just started to drink tea in the last couple years, but what I really enjoy for my hot beverage is hot chocolate.

I was working on this card last night but then my battery died in the camera so couldn't get it posted until this morning.
This coffee cup/mug is one of my favorite cuts and is from Creative Memories Cheerful Seasons Cartridge.
Pink by Design is also having a link up party I am linking this up to. Everyone should check this one out-- no rules!
Here's How I did it...
Card base is 3" x 6" ( 6"x6" folded in half)
Pattern paper from October Afternoon and all others from my scrap stash
Cup/layers cut at 4.5" from CM Cheerful Seasons
Label from CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge
Snowflake punch using mini CM pocket punch
Sentiment from MPS Winter Punnies
Chalk and Pearls for accent

I'm on a roll now-- second challenge card for today.
Ok, some of you might say, only a second card for the day is on a roll...well for me it is. It can take me an hour just to figure out the paper I want to use.
This card is for My Craft Spots: Monday Challenge-Winter Wonderland
I went to my SVG files for this cute little boy who is all bundled up to play out side in the snow. He is from the Lettering Delights Weather Boy set. He is cut at 4.5"
The challenge was also to use glitter- so I added some glitter sparkles to his hat, scarf and his buttons on his coat.
Here's How I did it...
Base card is A2 size from Kraft paper
Snowflake pattern paper is Bo Bunny
All other paper is from my scrap stash
Powdered Sugar Sizziz embossing folder for hat
Face is from PKS Boy Mates Faces
Sentiment is from BugBites Mistletoe stamp set
Stickles and chalk
Brown ribbon from Stampin' Up

The first Monday of the year.
Well, it is the first Monday of 2012. With the start of a new week and and New Year there are lots of new challenges going on. Today I'm going to try to get a few cards done for my stash using these challenges as inspiration to keep me focused and on track.
First up is a card for the Peachy Keen Let's Face it Friday Challenge and the Make it Monday challenge:Anything Goes over at Kraft Outlet.
I just got the new Creative Memories This & That cartridge.
To order this Cricut Cartridge or any of the other CM Cricut exclusives, click here and when you check out, please select Barb Orvis as the consultant. I would be so greatful.
This cartridge has some super cuts on it and I am anxious to use some for upcoming Valentine's Cards.
I didn't put a sentiment in the inside yet because it could be for a little boys birthday, could be for a family moving into a new home, or many other things. Therefore, I will leave the inside blank until the time comes to use it and then include a sentiment appropriate for the occasion.
The background paper was made by cutting a mat from Kraft paper and then using a stamp from My Pink Stamper, I stamped the words "Under Construction" across it to make my own pattern paper.
Back later with more...
Here's How I did it...
Paper all from my stash
Card base sized and cut using my Gypsy and Lacey Labels
The mat cut from Lacy Labels on the Kraft card stock
Sentiments used are from MPS Boy Crazy stamp set
Face from Peachy Keen Wide Eyed Kids stamp set
Twine from Twinery
Misc Brads and snaps from my stash
Doodles with my pens.
