Lucky Leprechaun

St. Patrick's day is coming up soon. This is a really simple card layout that I have used for other things. It is a nice alternative to the typical A2 card even though when folded this is the same dimensions.

I am entering this into the Cricut Cardz Challenge. The challenge is to make a card for St. Patrick's day but NO shamrocks.

For the card, I cut my base stock at 8.5" x 5.5", normal, no big deal, right?
Now for the folding. I scored on the 8.5" edge starting on the left at 2 1/8" and at 4 1/4" and then fold to get sort of an accordion fold. now you just decorate it.

Here's how I did it...
All paper from my scrap stash
Striped paper....
  • cut one panel at 4" x 5.25"
  • cut 2 panels at 1 7/8" x 5.25"
Cut 2 squares at 1.5" and cut in half diagonally to place on the corners of the card
Leprechaun/layers including shadow cut at 4" from Simply Charmed cartridge, p. 32
  • I used my Gypsy to hid his face so I could stamp it
Face stamp from Peachy Keen's Boy Mates Face stamp set
Sentiment from Pink by Design spring has Sprung Stamp set
Doodle with my gel pen.
