Happy Easter

Wishing everyone a Happy Easter.
I did some 3-d Easter egg cards this year.

The card folds open to appear like one of those old fashioned sugar eggs with a scene inside.

Here is a side view. Looks like the egg is sitting in a basket.
The file is from SVG Cuts.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day with family!

Ready for the Bunny!

Happy Friday!

I put together one last little Easter box/basket for this weekend.

It's perfect for a few chocolate treats. Hope the bunny comes soon since I ate all the treats that were already in the basket!

The box itself is made with the Jaded Blossom Scallop Caddy die. I cut 4 pieces and glued them together. I then cut 2 squares, one for the inside bottom and one for the outside bottom of the box for extra stability.

I added layers of Doodlebug spring papers and then added the super cute little bunny.
The bunny is from SVG Cutting Files here. He measures about 2" tall and I made four of them, one for each side of the box.

Have a crafty day!

Bunny Treat Box for Easter

Hey there Everyone!  There is a new challenge at SVG Cutting Files, this month we have a "Easter Treat" theme.  Just remember, the project must include something from SVG Cutting Files. Projects should be linked on the blog or Facebook Galleria Group by April 14. As always, there is a great prize up for grabs.

I am sharing a fun bunny treat box.
This treat box is super simple with the new SVG File from SVG Cutting Files.
The treat box measure 3" to the top of the box and 4.5" to the top of the ears.

I added and extra oval of black for the eye just to give it a bit more dimension.
The top of the box comes with 2 small holes so I could thread my ribbon through to add the bow at the top.
The top pulls off easily so you can fill the inside with little Easter treats.
I added a small ester tag with the bow. Sorry- you cant see it well in these photos.

Here's a list of what I used on today's project......

Have Sham-rockin' Day!

Happy Monday! Hope you all enjoyed a wonderful weekend. The weather is getting better and better and the days longer. Spring is nearly here!

St. Patrick's day is just around the corner and that means another opportunity to make some treats.

This little chibi leprechaun is fairly new in the SVG Cutting Files store. He is so cute I just had to use him on today's project.

The box itself is the scallop matchbox however, instead of using card stock for the cover, I used heavy acetate. This way you can see the golden treats inside.

Here's a list of all the goodies I used to make this project...

You can do it!!!

Time to get FIT!
The SVG Cutting Files and Jaded Blossom Design teams have paired up to bring you some health & fitness  inspired projects for this hop.
This hop is ONLY for 24 hours and will end  PROMPTLY at 11:59 PST TONIGHT!

I made a little calendar that sits on my desk to remind me everyday to keep motivated to watch what I eat and exercise.

I used the Diet Success file from SVG Cutting Files to decorate my calendar. Oh, to have a tiny waist like that!

The base of the calendar is a square coaster that I covered with card stock.
You can find the coaster and the calendar's here...all from Jaded Blossom.
I added some encouraging words using the new Fitness stamps released today.

For the stand I used the back from the SVG Cutting Files Easel Back cards.
I used my silhouette to make a square shape and then layered the back on top before cutting.
I finally added a little banner to the top corner using the JB Candy Charms and Banner dies.

To go along with the theme of this hop, Jaded Blossom has released a new set of stamps. Check out the Bundle below!

Going Hog Wild!

Happy Friday!
Today is my design day over at SVG Cutting Files  and I am  happy to announce there are new files in that store today. There's a whole bunch of fun chunky animals. You will find a cow, a goat, a frog, a bunny and more.
I have a cute birthday treat using the Chunky Pig.

I made a simple 1" wide box first to hold my treats. I attached my pieced pig to one side of the box.
For the back of the pig, I duplicated the file but left off the feet and face. I also hand cut a tail.

I tied up the treat bag with a bow and added a tag using the JB Mini Tag Dies 2 and he JB Udderly Adorable stamp set.

Be sure to stop by the SVG Cutting Files store to see all the new Chunky animals.

Have a crafty day!
