No- it's not mitten weather yet, but i am afraid it will be here soon.
My Pink Stamper is having a Christmas Card Challenge today.
So here is my little holiday card.
The sentiment is from my new BugBites Mistletoe stamp set.
The mittens are from one of my all time favorite carts, Jolly Holidays.
I remember last year when this cart came out the day after Thanksgiving at Wal-mat. Oh my, I was way up north at family, and the closest Wal-mart was an hour away! By the time I got there, they were sold out. I called around to as many stores that would be somewhat on my way home. I finally found one and the gal was nice enough to hold it for me until I got there to get it. It was well worth the effort. I use this cartridge a lot during the winter months.
Here's how I did it...
Pattern paper from First Edition, Christmas Joy Mini stack all others from my scrap stash
Base of card is cut at 4.25" from CTMH Art Philosophy-this is my first cut with this cart
Mat is cut at 4" from CTMH Art Philosophy-this is my first cut with this cart
Mittens/layers cut at 3.5" from Jolly Holidays
snowflakes punched from CM pocket punch
Sentiment from BugBites Mistletoe stamp set
Twine from Twinery
Chalk and glitter pen

Thanks for joining Robyn's Pink Stamper Christmas Card Challenge! I really like your mitten cuts and how you added the twine!!
I love those mittens, a super cute card Barb!! :)
Super cute! I can see how these mittens would work well as a gift tag, too. Oooo, the wheels of inspiration or going crazy now!
This is so cute! The mittens look fantastic! It's really chilly here and my fingers are cold enough for mittens. I finally relented and turned on the furnace as I'm already bundled up - AND made hot chocolate for the family!!
Can anyone say "Snowball fight"! I love this card! I love the simplicity to this, yet it has sweet details! Great card!
