DCD Thank you Challenge

Welcome back to another Die Cuttin' Diva's challenge. This week we are challenging you with making a Thank you card.

A few weeks ago I was in NYC for the Marathon working. I love being in that city in the fall. I had several people working with me and owe them a huge thank you. So my card today is a thank you card for them.
It reminds me of the city skyline view you see when walking in Central Park.
I started with a new base card file from SVG Cutting Files
I added a City skyline cut from the Plantin Schoolbook cricut cartridge. Who would have thought that was on this cartridge.
I needed some color and turned to the fall tree file from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons which I printed and cut using the Cameo.
Next up was the old stone wall you see around Central Park so I cut a 1/2" strip of grey paper and ran it through the Cuttlebug.
Finally, a NYC card would not be complete with out a yellow cab.

This little taxi is a new release this Friday over at SVG Cutting Files. I printed and cut one taxi and then printed and cut it again but without the wheels so I could piece it together with foam tape and then added some sparkle to the windows and tail light with a glitter pen. The sentiment is from My Creative Time.
I ended up making a total of 12 of these little cards and got them all in the mail yesterday.

Don't forget to stop by the Die Cuttin' Diva's blog to see the other DT members have for inspiration this week and don't forget to link up your Thank you project.
