Birthday Wishes via Scooter

Hey everyone- it's the weekend.

I have been super busy at work, but wanted to post this Birthday card I was inspired to make due to the Birthday Sundaes challenge this week which was to use at least 3 Brads.

I have had these cute cupcake brads in my stash for a very long time so this was a perfect opportunity to use one. I also added brads to the tires.

I love this cut from the Sweethearts cartridge. She has that special birthday cupcake in her basket to deliver to a lucky birthday person.

Hope you have a fantastic Saturday - the days are getting shorter so fall is around the corner now  so enjoy the last of summer.

Here's How I did it...
All paper from my stash
Stripe paper from Lasting Impressions
Base of card cut at 4.5" from Wild Card
Circle mat cut at 3" from George and Basic Shapes
Scooter/layers cut at 3"
Brads from my stash
Ribbon from my stash
Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder on basket
Sentiment from MPS Everyday Occasion
Doodles with my gel pen and stickles

Final day of my stamp release party sneak peeks.

Only 24 hours before I get to reveal my first
BugBites Stamp set, All Year Round
I have had a great time this week sharing with all of you my projects using these stamps.

I have been so lucky to have some wonderful blog friends sharing their creativity using my stamps this week as well. A special thank you to Sarah. She went all out and did 6 fantastic cards this week.
I am happy to say she shares in my obsession of paper and crafting as much as I do.

Here are the peeks for today.

This froggy card uses the frog cut from the Sweethearts cart- I know, a frog on the Sweetheart cart, who knew.
The card base is from the Wild Card Cart and the Lilly pad is the pond cut from Create-a-Critter.

Here is what my friends did for you today.

You still have today to leave comments on each post this week for a chance to win one of my new stamp sets.
I'll be giving away a BugBites All Year Round stamp set EACH day to one lucky follower who leaves a comment on the daily post, Aug 1st-7th.
Winners will be selected and posted on August 8th when I reveal the entire set.

Wacky Wednesday Challenge

Well, happy Tuesday, I guess- sure feels like a Monday though.

Last night I was, what would the guys in my house call, multi-tasking. That is creating on my gypsy while watching TV.

This was a card I did with the Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge in mind which is to use any cut from the Wild Card cartridge.

There are so many different options on this cart. I challenged myself with using a cut that may be overlooked- the lattice/diamond background.

The birds are from the Songbird cart. This cartridge does not have layers, so I cut all my pieces multiple times and trimmed away what I did not want from each to get the look I wanted.

Here's how I did it....
Standard A2 cad base of off white card stock
Lattice background cut at 4"x5.35" from Wild Card
Bird on branch/layers cut at 2.18" from Songbird
Bird in Bird Bath/layers cut at 2.18" from Songbird
Tag cut from Once Upon A Princess
Sentiment from MPS Everyday Occasion stamp set
Brads and ribbon from my stash
Lots of chalk and doodles with my gel pen

Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge

Paula over at More Than Favors has weekly challenges using different Cricut Cartridges each week called Cricut Cartridge Chaos.
Looked like fun so I pulled out my Mini Monster Cricut cartridge, which is the cartridge to use this week, to see what I could do. This is one of my favorite carts. My card is a bit "out of this world" with some wacky colors. Don't ya just love those eyes. I found them at my craft store in the doll aisle, lashes and all.

Here's how I did it....
Pattern paper is from Anna Griffin, Imaginations, Creative Memories and scraps from my stash
Card base is cut at 5.5" from Wild Card, p.51
The circle frame is cut at 3.20" from Wild Card, p.39; I placed the frame on top of the card base and hid the outer circle on my gypsy before cutting to be sure the opening on the base matched the opening on the frame.
Punched a yellow circle with my CM large circle punch
Sentiment is from Scrappy Moms A Haunting We will Go stamp set
Stickles, chalk, doodles with my white gel pen and a scrap piece of ribbon stapled on the inside complete this project.
