Prost!

Prost!
That's Cheers in German.

I am celebrating beacuse I am the newest member of
SVG Cutting File's Cut Club Design Team- Woo Hoo!!

I am so excited to be a part of this team. Some of the members I have been designing with for a while and others I cant wait to get to know better.

I am hopig this will also help me get some more scrap pages done in my albums...I'm years behind!

It's October and that means Oktoberfest time.
Actually, Germany celebrates Oktoberfest a bit earlier, but our friends Oktoberfest party is this coming weekend.

I did this page layout for this years group photo op.

I love how all the titles coordinate together along with the Okotberfest girl.
I added extra wheat behind the prost title to fill inthe bottom of the page. Also added an extra skirt
piece in white to add a little layering to her skirt.
That's what is so great about cut files, you can mix and match to make hundreds of cool things!

The Oktoberfest and Prost titles are free to Cut Club members until October 21st!
Not a Cut Club Member? Find out how to become a member here now!

Here's a list of the files I used today. They will be inthe store starting tomorrow. Just click on the name below starting October 14 to go direclty to the site to get them for your Oktoberfest celebration!

More Okotoberfest treats!

Well, the weekend is almost over. If you saw my post yesterday, you know I was celebrating Oktoberfest with friends.
Well, I did one last treat before heading to the party.
I really wanted a unique way to give the magnets I had made, but didn't want to do a basic card. So I decided it would be fun to decorate a can and then the magnet could just stick to the can.

I found some cans at the dollar store that would be perfect.

I designed the label for the can using digital papers from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons as well as the stein SVG file. I also created the can top in the same way but with the SVG Cutting Files Chibi Okotoberfest file that I used for the magnets.

I attached the label and can top with score tape and filled the can with spiced pecans, recipe here.

The magnets attached to the front and were ready for giving along with the Black Forest Chocolate Cherry Cake I bring each year- It turned out pretty good this year.

Have a crafty day.

Festive Fall Tags- Prost!

Yup- still celebrating Oktoberfest!
If you saw my post a couple days ago, I mentioned an annual Oktoberfest party. Well, I was recently in Las Vegas for work and stopped by the Hofbrau House Restaurant there and picked up some german style napkins for the hostess.
Of course, I needed to add a little tag to for them and the SVG Cutting Files Oktoberfest files worked perfectly.
I used several different images from this set combined together for my little tags.I think they turned out rather cute!

Hope you all have a creative day!
