Summer Sweet Treats

Here we are at another weekend.

The Ice Cream on the Beach Blog Hop over at Frosted Designs is still going on. I have some blog candy I am giving away for that too. You can find my post here

Not sure where all of you are at, but it is really warm and humid here in MN so the beach and an ice cream treat is a great way to cool off. I am sure I sweat enough calories away to justify it...LOL!

Paper Cutz Challenge #99 this week is make a project with an ice cream cone, popcicle, ice cream sundae or milk shake.
The Tacky Tuesday Challenge this week is also for a sweet treat and Scrapalicious USA 's challenge is to  use turquoise.

I tried to use a cartridge I have not used in a while, Nifty Fifties. I like the retro look. I really need to use this cart more often.

Well, what are you waiting for? Get that ice cream out and give your self a treat!
Enjoy!!

Here's how I did it....
Standard A2 card base
Paper is all from my scrap stash
Ice Cream/layers cut at 4.5" from Nifty Fifties, p.57
Cuttlebug embossing folders Divine Swirls and Diamond Plate
Sentiment is from MPS Simply Sweet Occassions stamp set
Ribbon from my stash
Chalk, a little bling and some doodles with my gel pen.

This is really cute. I have this cart and never used it, but you have inspired me to at least pull it out and see what on it. Hugs, Pam at http://craftycards4u2.blogspot.com/
