Just chicken in!

Hey everyone!
I haven't posted in a few days. My real job has had me quite busy not to mention everyday life.
I have been working on a few things which you will see posted over the next couple of weeks.

It's a gray, rainy day here in MN so that means I get to scrap all day. Yeah!
There are so many challenges that I want to catch up on so we will see what creative juices are flowing today.

I made the following card this morning for Patti and Linda's My Creative Sisters Challenge: Barnyard Theme and Delightful challenges.
There is still time to get your country grove on and enter.

Here's how I did it...
Base card is 4"x4" ( that is the largest size I could cut from this scrap)
All additional paper from my scrap stash
Chicken/layers cut at 2" from Country Life cart, p.44
Chicken/layers cut at 2.25" from Country Life, p.43
Embossed the green with Cuttlebug folder Distressed Stripes
Ek Border punch for top border
Chalked all edges, added doodles with my gel pen and some string from my stash
Sticker beads for chickens eyes
Sentiment is from My Pink Stamper Even more Punny-licious stamp set

Enjoy the weekend!

Bard, love your card! I like how you used the embossing folder for the grass - I have that one and would never have thought of using it that way. Great job!

Thank you for playing along with us on Creative sister Monday challenge.

I just love this card - I have a thing for chickens - my dining room is totally decorated in a chicken coop theme! This is so cute, I may have to borrow your idea!

Thanks for playing along at creative sisters monday challenge!!!
