Yeah- it's Friday!!!
This week over at Frosted Designs, the challenge is all about animals.
I came across a tutorial months ago for a small luminaria. So I thought this would be a great project for the animal challenge.
It used some boyish papers with a dinosaur. Each of the 4 sides is the same. This is not very big, about 4" tall but a perfect for a battery operated tea light to let light shine through the vellum windows.
I actually took the dimensions from the tutorial and created a template on my gypsy so I could cut the oval openings all at one time. I think I still need to adjust them slightly. This now gives me the option to do oval openings, square openings, etc.
A great night light option for a baby boys room.
The dino is from Create a Critter and I used the Divine Swirls cuttle bug folder on the vellum.
Please be sure to head over to Frosted Designs to see the other fantastic projects from the DT and link up an animal project of your own. I would love to see what you come up with.
Have a great Friday!!
