Ginger Snap Scraps Memorial Day Blog Hop~Day 2

Welcome back to day 2 of the first ever Ginger Snap Scraps Blog HopThe DT is featuring projects themed for Memorial Day.

If you have just come from  Ashley's blog, then you are in the right spot. If you are just stopping by and would like to jump in on all the fun, then please start from the beginning by clicking here.

My project for today's hop is a double hinged card and my first ever attempt at this.
I have to say I am quite pleased with how it turned out.

I used Bazzill paper as my base for the card along with the red, white and dark blue for the die cut image from A Child's Year cartridge. Other pattern papers are left over from last year's 4th of July cards.  The sentiment is from My Pink Stampers Freedom Rocks stamp set.

Inside card
I started with 2 strips of red paper.
1- 8.75" x 4.25" and scored at 5.5" and another 9" x 3.25" scored at 4.5". From there I just started to layer the mats. The image is cut at 2.5" and attached with dimensions to pop it up.
Paper and Cartridges can be found in the Ginger Snap Scrap online store now. If you have not stopped over to check it out- do it now!
