It's the start of a new week and that means another challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut.
This weeks challenge is "Try this Angle"; make a project with a rectangle and a triangle on it.
I came across this cute bug in Nate's ABCs -Isn't it "buggie".
I almost forgot about this challenge this week because I have been traveling for work, so this was an impulse creation.
I grabbed this cartridge thinking I would use one of the many little cuts with a boy, but when I turned the page and saw this bug, I remembered this sentiment that I saw on a recent stamp purchase from My Creative Time. The two had to come together for a card.
I am pleased with how it turned out.
I hope you will hop over to Fantabulous Cricut and give this challenge a try as well.
I would love to see what you can do.
I am also posting this to the Cricut 360 challenge blog. It is a new challenge blog starting up this summer and they are having a DT call. Check it out.
I think this blog is made for me being I love my bug and all. Right? - LOL.
Here's how I did it....
Kraft paper fro base A2 card
paper from my scrap stash
Bug/layers cut at 3" from Nate's ABCs, p.38
Cuttlebug Tny Mosaic embossing folder
Jellibean Soup bakers twine
Sentiment from My Creative Time's My Favorite Sayings stamp set
Squiggle eye, chalk, pop dots, and doodles with my gel pen
