Happy Cinco de May!
Wow, I have lots going on and coming up for all of you.
I am working on a blog hop with some great designers and I will be sharing all the details over the weekend as to how you will be able to participate as well.
AND, Oh my gosh, it is Natl Scrapbook day/weekend in less than 24 hours! I hope you will stop by Frosted Designs and participate in all the fun games and fun starting Friday night. I am hosting a special challenge over there so watch for that.
I received the Bug Magazine in my mail and I was published!
I am working on another post to share the project that was published.
All kinds of fun stuff happening.
Now onto today's Cinco de Mayo card.
I had inspiration from the Peachy Keen challenge and will also be linking it up to the Creative Cutter Room challenge today.
I had some new stamps from Scrappy Moms and Peachy Keen that I wanted to try. Don't you just love that little mustache on this little guy- it's a PK stamp!
Here's how I did it....
Standard A2 card size
Pattern paper from Memory Keepers Fiesta line
The hat is a sticker from MK Fiesta Embossed sticker sheet
Banners: punch edge with EK punch and trim to height/width desired
Letters cut at 1" from Storybook cart
Man/layers cut from Paper Doll Dress Up at 3.5"
- hair and belt, p.44
- sandles, p.77
- pants, p. 64
- shirt, p. 62
Donkey cut at 3" from Paper Doll Dress Up, p.77
Face stamped with Peachy Keen Boy Mates (PK642) and Accessories Assortment (PK642) stamp sets
Doodles with my gel pen and chalks
Bakers twine for the banners to hang from
Sentiment stamp inside from Scrappy Moms Spring Fling Stamp set
